Staci0615 Posted April 15 #1 Share Posted April 15 Going on a Celebrity cruise after being on Princess last year. They had a popcorn station next to the outdoor movie screen that made it nice to sit and watch a movie. Does Celebrity also do this?
jelayne Posted April 15 #2 Share Posted April 15 Not that I have seen, but we don’t watch the outdoor movies. We do pass by as the movies are playing and haven’t seen a place to get popcorn.

Rare CruiseRQA Posted April 15 #7 Share Posted April 15 That was always one of the nice things about HAL. Always had popcorn with the movie. Don't know if they still do that. Have never seen popcorn on Celebrity. RCI charges $3 for popcorn? Brings me back to my favorite cruise joke: a passenger asked the cruise director how much a tender ticket cost? Answer - mmmm, we haven't thought of that yet!

Next time I will bring my own microwave and popcorn and sell it for $2 a box. People were buying it! LOL HAPPY CRUISING!

Juststayingafloat Posted April 15 #11 Share Posted April 15 I am sure they stopped to avoid cleaning the constant mess created by eating it.
Northern Aurora Posted April 16 #12 Share Posted April 16 I also remember the bags of popcorn in Celebrity theaters, but have not seen that in many years. Also wonder if the practice was stopped due to the mess left on floors,
