Day # 8- (April 21st) – Fun Day at Sea # 3. 

 

We were up at 7am to a warm, sunny day. Here are today’s Fun Times…..

 

 

 

 

I made my way to the Ocean Plaza to get my morning coffee from Setyo. I went back to the cabin to work on pictures for a while. At 9:30 am we made our way back to the Havana Area for some Bloody Mary’s. Here are some Havana Area views…..

At 11am we made our way to the Lobby Bar to meet up with Beth & Mark. Today is the Diamond Lunch and once again we invited them to join us…..

Once again we had a great time. The food was great and the drinks were flowing. Afterwards, we went back to the Lobby Bar for a couple of drinks. Patti catches us from above and we get photo bombed!

We head up to the Casino to pick up our $25 Free Play, and then head to the Liquid Lounge for Deal or no Deal……

 

 

We have our cards and our drinks, so let the games begin. Nelson is the first contestant and he chooses # 10 as his case…..

 

 

 

Nelson plays it right down to the end and winds up winning $300…..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The final audience board shows that one person won $200. It wasn’t us. We did win $30 in Casino FunPlay though……

We won a $29 Bingo Package this time, so we finished ahead for today. As we head back to the cabin we pass through the Atrium where Juno Smile is playing Country Music. They are very good…..

 

 

 

Back at the cabin we see that I Gede has left us another friend…..

Tonight we are eating dinner at JiJi’s…..

This was easily the best meal of the cruise. Once again we were in a food coma so we made our way back to our cabin for the night.

 

Today’s Cheers count: Patti = 3, Jeff = 8. For the day (-1), for the cruise (+17).

 

Coming up next: Another great sea day as the Carnival Vista sails to Aruba.

I would say about 2K for each 7 days. About a third are scrapped, and the balance is uploaded to our hosting site. I post about 60 to 70% of those on our reviews. 😃

Our sea day started out with breakfast at Blue Iguana (after our stop at Ocean Plaza for coffee/Pepsi Zero).

 

 

We walked a couple miles then went back to the room to get ready for the Diamond lunch. While there, we put together a laundry bag. Then it was off to the atrium bar to meet up with Jeff & Patti.

 

 

 

I love Patti's bag. 🙂

 

 

 

The Diamond lunch food was again delicious!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After that, we spent the afternoon in the hot tub by the Tides pool followed by some time at Red Frog Rum Bar. When we got back to our room to get ready for dinner, our laundry was already back.

 

 

We were indecisive about dinner and we ended up with sandwiches from the deli.

 

 

 

We headed to Ocean Plaza to see Setyo for a couple Christine's Faves and listened to Ron sing for a bit before calling it a night.

People have suggested these to me as well and I don't think I'd like people looking down into "my area". Now, after seeing the pictures, I know I wouldn't.

You and Patti are really troopers when it comes to getting those pictures! Surprised that you've only been to HMC one time and I remember exactly when that was. We were on the Pride together in 2015! Patti's surgery is tomorrow. She can't wait!

I'm going to have to walk a little more next time we come here. So many new things and places I didn't go before. I also didn't realize they would let you walk up to the top of the zipline for pictures. (I was secretly hoping she was zipping lol)

Now that is really cool!!!! The neatest thing we had on our Panorama was the marbles that kept flowing into it and swirling around (which I loved) but this is on a whole other level. (And the "halloween" ones too. So cool.

I always wondered how this happens. So you have to get all the way off the ship and start the process again by getting back on. Good to know in case we ever do this (have done back to back but changed ships in the past). So you just managed to book the same room on both trips and just left your stuff in the room right? That's awesome!
