Post CRUISE LINE Single Supplement/Solo Bargains HERE

I noticed today with Carnivals new "pay for an oceanview, get a balcony" sale some of their no single supplement cruises are included in this sale. As an example, the Victory 4/28 5 night cruise was only $299 plus taxes & fees for a balcony - with no single supplement.

I know some of these are last minute - but then most of the great deals usually are. Unfortunatley, I can't cruise again before fall, but just thought someone might be able to take advantage of the great prices.

Thanks for sharing!

Im excited about their pricing, if they have to sell late April cruises this low, just image how cheap the fall cruises will be. :)

I want to sail on valor in mid November, so it will be several months before those cruises drop.

I will be on this cruise with you also! I ended up getting a single port hole for a great deal with OBC also. Carnival had sent me a flyer about the special IBC they were doing and I looked it up on the website. Maybe I will see you both onboard?:)

And I only got $75 onboard credit. I have the lowest price guarantee so if you know how I could get the 619 price and still get to choose my cabin I'd love to know!

Welcome aboard. I ended up changing to a casino special so I got an even lower rate and got the difference in the pricing as OBC.

I have stayed in the porthole cabins before and they are really nice. Since it only has one bed instead of two there is lots of space for couch and coffee table and makes it feel very spacious. The prices are amazing right now. When you can book a room solo for less than 400 dollars it becomes affordable for everyone.

I have gone on this one the end of October of last year and it was great. Love all the ports. It's a shame though that they took out Dominica.

It seems that Carnival has really taken to realizing that it is better to have one person in a cabin then none and giving no single supplement on many cruises.

Also Celebrity and RCL have better prices on sell off Tuesday.

My Question does Princess ever have such deals I mean they are owned By Carnival.

What is a casino special? Do you agree to gamble x number of $

No! Casino discounted cruises are offered to people who wasted way too much money in the casino the last time they were on board. I would not recommend throwing away 600 bucks in the casino just to potentially get 100 bucks off the next cruise but since I already lost the money I might as well reap one little benefit.

Nice rates for these 2 weeks (note Studios are $779 which isnt a bargain but the non-studios are not bad)

Insides $459, Outside view $649, Balcony $799, Mini Suite $899.

(Port fees are $200 more)

Note, most are GTY's but it seems some non-GTY's are a little more in each category.

(I am sticking with my 10/19 Breakaway studio which was $545, but wanted to share these in case anyone in the NE was looking).

I have a bunch of concerts and Phillies games in May, and would be missing some and have to rearrange vacation time

If I wasn't already booked for the Pride on the 4th, I'd have been all over this one!

Have you seen balcony or minis at these prices before? They don't make it easy to find, you have to get all the way into a mock booking to see the lower prices.

Would love to go to Bermuda in September, maybe............(dreaming)

I'm not seeing these rates on the NCL website for 1 guest. These are closer to the 2 guest rates. What did I do wrong?

Are you clicking all the way through? Ncl site is weird,it will show a higher price until you actually click through to the place where you pick a cabin

Welcome aboard! Yes I'm sure we'll all be seeing each other on board. I'm planning to go to the meet and greet as well as the slot pull. I am so looking forward to this cruise.

Ok, just snagged a $500 american airline voucher due to an over sell. Where would you fly to grab a solo cruise probably July or October. Not houston Galveston as that is my home port. What's your under $1000 dream cruise? Go!

In July you could do Alaska if the airfares to Seattle or Vancouver will be covered by the $500. Europe airfares will be too high. Nothing like Alaska although some folks avoid it because they want to go to a warm climate. But since you're in Texas I'll bet you'd want to escape the heat in July.

Hello yes, you need to start a reservation to show the lower price. Note it drops from what you see on the original screen.

it appears to be the lowest prices I have seen for the ship

Thanks for your help. The $469. inside rate for the 5/11 would show and then when I tried to book it would say it was sold out. But persistence paid off and I tried again this morning an apparently space opened up. The online booking kept giving me error messages so I finally called in the booking and I'm good to go. What a fantastic rate. I was almost tempted to book the mini-suite for $899. but why spend the extra $430.? That's almost the price of my inside gty. and I could be taking another cruise with that money.

Hi your welcome! Is it possible the Inside GTY would become an outside or balcony? The $799 grabbed my attention and I am wondering if mid October will drop that low. Although I am not familiar with the mini-suites ,it seems they are just larger balconies? Also, i am sure some mini-suites are near louder areas.

I was pretty pleased with my mid-10 balcony though and would do that again.

I think the other difference between mini-suite and balcony is the bathroom. The bathroom in the mini-suite has a double sink and I think it has a special shower. The balconies appear to be the same size. I love how in one report someone said it was more a ledge than a balcony. They are awfully teeny and I don't imagine I'd want to spend a long time sitting out there, especially since it would be difficult to recline. I'd rather spend the $79. for Vibe (if I'm lucky enough to get to book it).

The standard balcony is 5 ft X 7 ft. Not really big enough for two people to lounge upon but there are two chairs and a small table so you can have coffee or wine out on the balcony for two. I usually sit in one chair prop my legs in the other and use the little table for my drink so I can comfortably lounge out there and read a book. If you're planning to use your balcony to join the cruise ship version of the mile high club you might need to book a room with an extended balcony.

Surely there isn't 5' x 7' available in a plane loo? The balcony seems positively expansive as an alternative to the "mile-high" option!
