norwane Posted June 12, 2017 #626 Share Posted June 12, 2017 Hi all, Well, it sounds like My Vegas might be releasing some RCI cruises in the near future? One was released, but sold out very quickly. I am wondering, if I am able to grab one of the cruises, if it is for an interior room, are we stuck with the interior room, or can we pay to upgrade? I've become a bit of a snob when it comes to cruising with a balcony! :o Thanks!

norwane Posted June 12, 2017 #628 Share Posted June 12, 2017 Thanks for the info - that is good to know! Were you able to get one of the coveted cruises? Could you please tell me (if you know) how much more it cost to upgrade to a balcony, if one was available? Do you know if we would be able to bring our 13 year old son on a cruise (provided we are able to snag one!) as well? When do they post the rewards, typically? simplyjustnoel Posted June 13, 2017 #629 Share Posted June 13, 2017 So in case anyone was wondering, I just did this process a few days ago for the $250 OBC reward. I had booked my 7-day cruise on 05/26. I followed the instructions on the email from MyVegas to forward my reward to Club Royale. However, I did not receive a response in 48 hours as it states I should. I then decided to call Club Royale directly and get the credit applied. I'm glad I did because the representative on the phone stated that the reservation had to be made within 14 days of redemption, not 30. I was able to get it applied to my account within minutes and am able to utilize this OBC in my Cruise Planner now. I was also able to redeem it even having booked under the 30% off each guest promotion. Hope this helps!

timberframe!!! Posted June 17, 2017 #633 Share Posted June 17, 2017 When using the complimentary cruise through MSC (MyVegas), it looks like we can add onto that by purchasing the onboard free credits. But not the 250.00 free onboard credits. Is that how you interpret it?

roseshayit Posted June 30, 2017 #636 Share Posted June 30, 2017 I totally forgot about MyVegas. I never cashed anything in, but should check to see if I have anything...I never liked that things weren't able to be combined and I could find better offers elsewhere. Random Hag Gambler Posted July 28, 2017 #645 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Clarifying for people about RC OBC from MyVegas rewards. Although it states for new bookings it also states booked within the last 30 days if made from the Royal Caribbean website itself. We booked a cruise on 7/4/2017 for a sailing in 12/2017. On 7/25/17 I sent a rewards redemption code to them with my booking info and they applied the OBC within 24 hours no problem. The cruise had also been booked using their own BOGO 50% off and that wasn't an issue at all. Just wanted to let people know it is possible to redeem an OBC for a cruise already booked as long as it hasn't been over 30 days since booking and you did it yourself through their own website and not a travel site. Cheers
