Can I book this as a B2B?

Haven't ever done the Mexican Riviera, and I'd would prefer a different time of year maybe not so close to possible a spring break but that was the latest sailing available. That time I spent two weeks on Royal Princess I was very comfortable on her.

Hey, Dave.

Though it was only the 5 day and it was on the Ruby, our first visit to Cabo was on April 26 this year. It was not crowded at all and it was very clean with not a spring breaker in sight. Enjoyed the port, but missed the Royal Class.

Congrats on your health and job....welcome back. Still in the western side of the State?

Dave, I've also booked this combination. :) So have several friends. Can't wait to sail on the Royal again.

It's really easy for us California folks. We take a shuttle bus to Seattle and fly home on Southwest. :D

I checked VYR to LAX flights for April 2018 (latest date currently available) and airfare was surprisingly cheap at about $125 for a non-stop flight home. :)

We're also on this fantastic back to back. I'm even happier that now we get to do the Royal, since we haven't done it yet.

We were supposed to do this last month, but due to illness we had to cancel (insurance is always a must and we got everything back).

Looking forward to meeting all of you at the Meet & Greet.

Helen

Sorry for the slight thread drift, but I didn't think this question warranted its own thread, and the knowledgable people here probably know the answer. According to the Princess website, on February 2, 2019, Royal Princess will finish up its Caribbean season, docking in Port Everglades. On March 23, 2019, she leaves from San Pedro to begin the West Coast season. How is she getting from Florida to California? Around South America? Through the Panama Canal? And can that repositioning cruise be booked? I can't find anything on line. Thanks for any help.

Congrats Dave. Your Live from the Royal thread you did was one of the main reasons we booked the Regal last December. I love this class of ship. Like you, I can't wait to sail the Royal. I love cruising to Mexico so hope you will too.

That was a fun thread to do, two weeks on this wonderful ship in the Caribbean. Can't wait to do another two weeks with all of the great ports!!!

Good for you Dave have a great time.

Tony

It's going to be a blast. I imagine a stop at the Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar will be in quick order after Alfredo's and Bellini's.

Hi Paul,

I'm still up in Clarksburg, but I'm not sure for how much longer. Have two Broadway National Tours coming up in the next two weeks - Dirty Dancing and An American in Paris coming to Pittsburgh - then my summer is open and a final countdown to Crown Princess in September.

Have never done the Mexican Riviera, and although I've always wanted to do it the "right ship" for me was never there. Placing Royal Princess on the West Coast was the game changer.

As for my health the diagnosis is "chronic" but I'm under medications to manage it. Had to go to the Pittsburgh VAMC for a specialist. No cure, etc. etc. etc. I'm heading towards the Big 60 in a couple of years so maybe it's expected things to start falling apart. Need this big cruise to look forward to.

Who wants to start the roll call? I already found a super fun tour for our short port day in San Francisco, https://magicbussf.com/tour/charters-and-adventures/ We could fill the bus with a Cruise Critic group.:D There was a big write-up on this tour in Via, the AAA magazine.

It may be a very quiet Roll Call for a long time. lol ;) I think we're at 700+ days and counting.

And it will be wonderful to meet the one and only, legendary Pam.

Wow!!! I did not expect that answer, LOL!

My brother lives in Seattle, so we will spend a couple of days with him, then use our Southwest points to fly home to Sacramento. My husband drives like he "stole it" and he says I drive like I'm "driving Miss Daisy". A shuttle works better for both of us. ;)

You actually made me laugh out loud. I would rather ride with you
