NCL Pearl= Gronk's Party Ship

So it looks like the group has pretty much locked up the Stardust for their programming, so don't expect much in the way of shows for the regular NCL passengers (no big deal for me, don't really do shows on a short cruise anyway). There is A LOT of stuff that is full ship access, which diminishes the value of booking the "special" cruise.

We still may go, now that DH has had his surgery and is feeling better. I'll give it another week to decide (but before the 30 day mark). With all of these activities going on, I see an opportunity for a much less crowded casino, which is a positive for me :)

Looks like just 1 show per night open to everyone in the Stardust with the exception of Sunday.

I would be ticked that regular passengers are getting most of the acts the group cruises are paying so much more for.

FYI, I checked the pricing on this yesterday and it doesn't look like I would get ANY of the promos, even though it's more than 30 days out. With that being the case, I may wait longer and see if the price dives. If I go or not doesn't mean the end of the world to me, so it's probably worth seeing if I can get a really good deal :)

Thank god my won the gronk cruise I would never pay the price they are charging for this cruise and now sixthman says we can buy the booze package 244.00 each for 3 days on top of all the other money they charge for this cruise I'm just happy my wife won it

He's just going to get his 50k appearance fee (or whatever he's charging after winning another Super Bowl next year) spiking a few few balls and drinking free alcohol...Win - win for everyone

At least they are now calling it Great Stirrup Cay instead of Gronk's Island. :p

Looking forward to the cruise, doesn't look like their schedule will bother me in any way.

Wow... for a hybrid cruise the pool deck is going to be hopping! Lucky to those who did not book as part of the Sixthman entertainment. Let's just hope those who did book the cruise on the ship know it's a partial charter and don't come back complaining about this that and the other!!

If I paid for the private events I would be miffed. The Lebrewski cruise was dirt cheap as well on the Pearl. I'm thinking Sixthman is going to re-tool their options next time and be more careful about what they offer.

1) Lebrewski is NOT a Sixthman charter. I'm a SXM cruiser who is also booked on Lebrewski and, let me tell you, On The Blue is a very different company to deal with.

2) SXM has made it clear to guests that Gronk is a partial charter. If you look at the schedule, it noted exactly what is for charter guests only and what is open to the whole ship.

They just had some video on HLN. Gronk on stage - 4 girls on top, he tries to bench press them or at least that is what they said in the news story.

Some video and photos. Surprised NCL allowed jumping into the Haven pool like that for safety reasons. That pool is not that deep.
