Ok. first cruise 23 years ago on our honeymoon. The ship would have easily fit into the majesty. Interior cabin about the size of my closet. Thought that was the best thing ever

Next cruise about 10 years later, Promenade view on the brand new adventure of the seas. Thought that was the best thing ever

Next cruise 5 years after that. Balcony cabin. On a freedom class. Thought that was the best thing ever

Then a series of about a cruise (or 2) a year on the newest ships in a hump balcony. Thought that was the best thing ever

2013. First cruise in Europe. Thought that was the best thing ever

51 days from now first Junior Suite on the Harmony of the seas. I know this will be the best thing ever...

Until next time. [emoji23]

What's your current best thing ever and your crystal ball best thine ever?

Best ever, 2 bed room Haven suite on NCL Escape. Being 10 steps from a private pool, bar and restaurant. Our shower and bath overlooking the ocean unfreaking believable.

On a RCCL ship. Sailing Allure in just a balcony for the 4 of us but with our best friends. That was great.

My first cruise was the best week ever. It was the first time my son and I had been on vacation. We were in a E1 balcony. I thought I was living it up! :p

Then my second cruise was the best week ever. D2 balcony and this time my mom, dad, and sister came with my son and me. I think that really was the best. One of my favorite memories was going to the MDR for breakfast one morning and seeing my parents at a table for 2 enjoying their breakfast. They looked so happy. :D

My third cruise was in a hump JS on Freedom. Best room by far and the cruise was good (it was just me, my son and my sister). We had fun but I missed my parents. Dad had some health issues last year and couldn't travel.

I REALLY want to do a cruise in 2018 for my son's graduation with parents AND extended family. Either it'll be the best thing ever or the worst! LOL!!! :p

Med Cruise on Brilliance, January 2009, the only winter she was in the Med. There were no lines at any of the shore events. Got to spend hours in the Alhambra without a crowd. Cadiz Spain on the Piazza drinking wine and having shrimp, all to our selves. Set at a 12 top table with great people from the UK who we still talk to. Inside cabin 500$pp for 10 days with stockholders obc, travel agent obc, RCI obc, last time you could stack those. Comped our airfare on AA. Plus we won 2500 in the casino. We actually put money in the bank on the way home. We have cruised in JR Suites since then but this cruise will always be hard to beat.

Only mistake not getting to Barcelona earlier or staying later.

I think our Best ever so far cabin wise was definitely the corner aft junior suite (1100) we luckily scored on Brilliance! The room was amazing... balcony was incredible and massive!

Upcoming, is 12 night southern Caribbean on Anthem and I'm thinking that will be our best ever cruise! haha If not, at the very least our longest! :D

Getting an aft balcony. It is so peaceful to watch the ships wake and the sound of the water. It's hypnotic.

I was reading this thread before replying this time, not being sure what my best ever was. I got the coveted corner aft cabin on a Radiance class for 2018, hoping that won't disappoint.

My best was a driving trip through the Balkans with a friend. We didn't have any reservations other than flights and the rental car. Found some amazing towns, we'd decide to stay a night or 2 or 3 then drive on to another place. Some of the border crossings were time consuming, like getting into Bosnia, but was well worthwhile. The food was fabulous.

Last October on Liberty of the Seas. We had the Ben & Jerry's "sweet".. We traded our card in for a gold card. Went to Chops for Breakfast, access to the Concierges lounge for drinks & hors d'oeurves & continental breakfast. Free ice cream at Ben & Jerry's I felt so special. Plus to top it off, the ocean was like glass!

That is exactly what we lucked into on Brilliance! One day, just perusing our TA website and 1100 was blinking as available. Sam didn't even hesitate and immediately called to switch our cabin. I hope you thoroughly enjoy as much as we did!! Plenty of room for a hammock too! haha :D

My first cruise was on a ship that was 1/10th the size of the Oasis. Then I remarried and my new wife was terrified to go on a cruise so I told her I would take her on the largest ship in the world The Allure and I couldn't get her off the ship. The next Best was our Honeymoon on The Serenade in a Grand Suite cruising the Mediterranean. The next Best cruise was going to Alaska for 7 nights on land and 7 nights at sea and that will be hard to top.
