Ships at Night............Your shots?

Recommended Posts

I have a couple pictures to add....

The first is a shot of the Ryndam just before a night departure in Juneau, AK.

The second is a shot of the Eurodam early evening (hope it counts as night) from the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City.

The third is a shot from the lido pool on the Eurodam the last evening of our cruise.

Don't have as many shots OF ships at night, but I have a lot ON ships at night.

Here's a shot of a ship - Celebration - in Cozumel, taken years ago with my Sony 717 balanced on a rail:

Here are some night shots onboard ships:

I guess I'm reviving an old thread, but these are some nice shots!

Bryan & Karen...thank you for reviving the thread, and for the kind comments. I had forgotten about this thread myself. I last posted night shots after my 2009 cruise, so I have a few more since then...

I remember this thread from several years ago and finally have some ship at night pictures to post. These are all of Carnival Liberty in San Juan. The first one was taken with my DSLR (hand held, no tripod). The second two are from my phone and I'm so happy with what I got and even happier when I saw the larger versions on the computer once we got home.

Great photos! It's amazing how well the cell phone cameras work, they're getting close to DSLRs.

Love those low light night shots. I enjoy wandering the decks late at night or very early in the AM taking shots when the decks are deserted. When I figure out how to post here I'll post some of my pics.
