Bathing suits?

Hope this isn't a stupid question, but should I pack in a bathing suit for an Alaskan cruise? The ship has no indoor pool and I can't see the weather in June-July in Alaska being warm enough to swim on those sea days.

I would say there is no reason not to. On my July cruise we had several very nice days and assuming they heat the pool to a reasonable degree the air temperature won't be an issue if you have similar weather. All the best, Tony

I see you are booked on Princess. Most Princess ships have an indoor pool. Which one are you booked on?

What about using the hot tub? We actually sat in the hotel tubs at the stern of the old Regal Princess every day on a Vancouver-Seward sailing a number of years ago, even one day when it snowed!

Swim suits take up small amounts of space, taking one isn't a problem.
