In Charleston the streets are narrow so just be prepared. You can not prepay parking and they do not take cash. Charleston will be hot and humid but I do bring a light sweater for the Casino which can be cool at times.

We have been on this cruise 3 times, the first two there were porters to take your bags but last June there were no porters only 2 gentleman and a fenced off area with a sign that said luggage. We rolled our luggage to them and then on to check-in not the most comforting feeling that our luggage would make it but they did.

We have been 3 times and our 4th is next September on the 14day journey cruise. We perfer Seattle lots to see and do prior to cruise which we usually fly to (from NC) two days before. If you have any questions please just let me know.

We were highly impressed with Carnival years ago when the Pride's engines stopped out in the Pacific Ocean on our way back to Long Beach and we were stranded there for almost a day while they worked to fix the problem. Guest Services set up phones with the different airlines so we could change flights and paid for the changes. We were given $$$ for hotel and food once we got back to Long Beach and 50% FCC for our next cruise. Love Carnival and the crew could not have been more wonderful.

If you have Priority Boarding you can go whatever time you choose and do not have to follow the boarding time on your pass.
