I think I'll just call them today and ask about one of their advertisements for Alaska on the Crown and see if they voluntarily give me the lowdown. 😉

And yet my TA is advertising like crazy for Alaskan trips on the Crown. Makes me wonder just how good of an agency would place anyone on that ship right now. 😒

That's why it's preferable to get the refund on the ship whenever possible.

The best part of the newer ship video on demand system is being able to fast forward the Wake Show and watch the whole thing in 5 minutes.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them removed from the existing ships someday. The need for a library has diminished greatly in recent years, especially with covid.

And what was their response to his comment? It sounds like the same situation when we sailed on the Enchanted back in Mar/April.

So maybe they are keeping track of those excursion credits after all. I would really hate to use the credit for any excursion in the Caribbean since we've seen just about everything and would rather use it for the Specialty restaurant if they'll let us.

We don't usually leave money to be refunded but when we left the ship in early April it took around 1 1/2 months to get our credit back.

At home I use my Roku unit or my WD-TV unit to watch them. I transfer the files to a thumb drive every so often. On the ship I bring the same unit's (preferable the Roku) since on last cruise I realized how neat it is to be able to use the Roku remote earphone plug in so as not to disturb my husband. Once connected to the ships TV it stays there until we leave. It only involves switching the input whenever I want to use it. The Roku also lets me connect my phone to the cabin TV to either watch movies or my photo's/video's taken during the cruise.

Princess can sell more drinks by allowing anyone in the lounge, so why wouldn't they?

On out May cruise it was around 30 days prior. But as CineGraphic has said, it's not worth worrying about as no one every askes to see your assigned boarding time.

Only if you could prove that the delayment occurred from the same exact problem. This would almost be impossible to find out. Good luck.

We've go OBC from Princess on the next trip which they indicate as non-refundable. It's shown as "Shore Excursion Credit*". Has anyone had this type before and does it have to be used only for a tour or can it be used for a Specialty restaurant? They've never indicated OBC to be used for certain things before as I recall.

I used to book a birthday for my husband but he didn't want any singing last cruise or that choc cake, so why bother other than to see his name light up on the board as you pass by the elevator. 😀

Vista lounge. They didn't serve anything you couldn't order in the DR. I suppose if you were going to take advantage of the discounted drink it might be worth it but since most people had the Plus Package they didn't attend. You might as well get a drink in the DR and order an appetizer so you can eat it while seated. My feeling is that they might do away with the Platinum and Elite lounge some day altogether unless the attendance increases when the ships fill up.

I've converted ALL my movies to .mp4 formal so I can bring them on a cruise with me. DVD's take up to much space for a Florida resident to save. 😉

If it were the Caribbean I wouldn't be to upset as we've been to ALL the ports numerous time over but it would really be upset on an Alaskan trip since we've only seen the ports once or twice.
