  1. Was this on Celebrity? I never had to pre order to have the MDR DINNER delivered
  2. What might be the reason? The holidays. They don’t sell the dining packages then, either
  3. If you have a beverage package why is it worth doing?
  4. No, only wine. Not beer, not liquor, not hard cider, not hard lemonade, hard seltzer, etc
  5. Will the ship be coming back to Southampton or going on from Rome to the transatlantic? If it won’t be coming back to Southampton, the crew will have a harder time if you use pounds for room service tipping. Stick with US dollars.
  6. Do not trust the app. Go look for yourself— you may be pleasantly surprised
  7. They have not canceled all Bermuda stops, only four. The title is misleading
  8. You don’t have a balcony, just a window and there won’t be a footstool
  9. A similar announcement with a link to “the points guy” was posted and removed, presumably because it was redundant, or perhaps it violated some rule, but it is gone and the same might happen here
  10. No, they are chillers, not real refrigerators
  11. I think they are still somewhat shortstaffed. You might see things like the water station return once they have more workers on board
  12. I would never trust the app. See what it says on the website. That is more likely to be accurate
  13. I know that your status does not change until the end of a cruise when you are earning points on that cruise for sailing, but this is a little different. Power up points can come mid-cruise and might make a difference. All you can do is ask the Captains Club host/hostess
  14. august point is due tomorrow these five are due on the 14th of October unlikely they will be in early but you never know🤞
  15. “Wonderful”…”amazing”…..aren’t there any other adjectives this guy can use? Some people are good at speaking extemporaneously and some just aren’t….
  16. You should be able to drop one passenger and keep the same stateroom. Dropping one isn’t generally a problem, adding one is.
  17. I really feel for the OP and the other Australian cruisers who are on this itinerary. The requirements have changed, and fairly recently, going from three days to two, from not proctored to proctored, and that has to be upsetting and even alarming because the instructions on the Australian Celebrity website do not match the instructions on the US Celebrity website, I don’t know if the Optum test kits will even be mailed to Australian cruisers, and there isn’t a lot of time for this. I agree that Celebrity will not do the testing. They have made that very clear for many itineraries now, with the possible exception being the back to back cruisers. If you are staying in a hotel in Hawaii before the cruise, I would reach out to them for help and advice on locations that will be available to you for your pre-cruise test.
  18. That is correct. If you have a drink package, just ask for a bottle of water at any bar and take it to your room. However the OP apparently does not want a drink package.
  19. Different countries and presumably different tour operators so no surprise at all
  20. The age limits are imposed by the operator of the tour, not by Celebrity. They’re generally a requirement of the tour operator’s insurance company. Celebrity may have no ability to change them
  21. Interesting as that contradicts everything we have been told on ships
