Yes I agree especially after taking a ship tour and seeing the setup. I like buffet Sinai can plate it as I choose as well as going to specialty restaurants. And MDR had too many bosses walking around this I bet making wait staff on edge.

Yea history is that in the past. And for many years women stayed home with children. Historically I do not think sea captain job was that desirable for women. And I am glad to see more on the bridge. But now it is time to remember skill and education first.

No the men were passengers not any crew. I think all cruise lines should have diverse crew and officers. I also felt like IMHO that Lisa might have been giving a slight dig to RCI in her quest to have more female navigational officers. I did mention chairs on survey but not sure they cared.

She is the wife of former President Bush. Really you do not remember her? hmmm did not realize X had so many Greek captains. I have no issue though.

I just felt it was becoming perhaps a trend to where it went way too much pro women. being fair and balanced can be exhausting and can lead to opinions. I just have had some interesting chats and the men I talked to were opinionated on the subject. And they felt a certain captain lady was moving from ship to ship a bit fast. I just want them to bring back the huge chairs on the lawn area like they had on Silhouette.

No just felt that of all the cruise lines she made it a priority that some think went overboard and might make some guys look elsewhere for employment sometimes good efforts go too far. It wad Laura Bush a year or so ago that said as a nation we are letting you boys down and not paying attention to them as much

Yes I was serious that opinions on X being more for women than men.I had few interesting chats with other passengers last year who wondered if young male grads from maritime schools would apply to Celebrity. Did not think my comment was wrong or nasty either.

I was on a ship where Sun bothered this couple who asked to be moved every 10 minutes as Sun moved. We all enjoyed the show as each time Sun would find them and they would fuss. The one lady all she had to do was face the other way but nope wanted to face window. Was funny. I for one can take some Sun in my face for a few minutes

Well even longer cruises with very few kids can have issues. So older folks who are hard of hearing and play tv loud and talk loud can be worse. Then again problem could be solved with hearing aids but some won’t accept the fact they are hard of hearing. I had issue on my last cruise where the tv’s were not back to back and so then mine would not drown theirs out.

Boy am I glad my cruise on Vision is next week

I love Anthem but glad to see Odyssey coming to Bayone. I am sailing out of Boston on Celebrity Summit for NE in the fall. I live going out of Boston.

oh yes I have seen prices higher by $25-50 for a higher deck.

Someone on the April 2nd sailing of the Wonder said Capt Rob was the captain for that week. So not sure if Henrik got on 9th or not. Might not come back since going to Icon. But I do no thing new captain of new ship spends a whole year at the ship yard either. I would think he would leave he Wonder say in September. BTW Icon does not sail until very late 2023 and it would be Henrik not Johnny leading the first sail. Not sure if it is true that Johnny is the 2nd captain. Would be right thought as both he and Henrik got their new ships in 2016 and Henrik moved to Wonder in 2022 and Johnny is still there which is quite long. Most captains leave a new build within 2-3 years.

I would say go on Wonder as the aqua show is best one of all the big girls and it is newest ship

Do go on Explorer as it will have ice show. and look up in front of ship outside the gym for the peek a boo bridge viewing area. any time you get to visit a new port, then do so.
