very nice. Like I said this thread is fun to read unless folks are mean. But for those who do not cruise, they too would ask the same question about 20K suites and why?

oh yes DCL is good for us without kids and over 40 too. I love the Fantasy and she has a nice adult area two story in front of the ship and a bench water swirl type setup to relax. Food is good in all rotating restaurants and the ship is very clean. One thing is the nightly gathering of officers all in white near elevators as well as characters and music. And Disney private island has three areas including one of adults. But I ended up liking the area with families closer to the ship. Disney has soda offerings near the pool that is not extra. A lot of balconies will have two baths, one with rub and one with toilet.

I say May and June are good for cruising out of Port Canaveral. Last November I think there were more weather issues than I could every recall.

well I found the burgers to be better than those precooked and sitting under a lamp or in water sauce in the MDR. Good burgers by the pool can be had on Carnival at Guys place. Fast turnover and always hot too

are you worried them taking photo of your face and putting that online. Most of the good You Tubers try not to take close ups. Tik Tok, well that is another story and mostly silly folks and not like those on You Tube who have a regular channel.

yup that is what I did during 2021-2022. I made a spreadsheet and kept track. Had to so the same with airlines. Then again, one of my air credits got a date change and I caught just in time. Went first class quickly to Fla Universal Studios for a quick 4 day trip. oh well. better than losing the money.

it's okay and I have enjoyed all the comments. I think even if one has the means, 20K is a lot of money unless you bring adult family who can share the price. Hoping the rich folks still give to a charity or two.

I did not think one could leave a ship and not return back to original port? Were you that afraid or why did you not return to NYC?

Well you can always stand in back for Aqua show and ice show. I have and people leave and you can fill in sometimes. Also for main theatre try balcony just as show is starting. only comedy club is hard without reservations but honestly more and more of the comedians I have found are just ok and or crude.

You are right and I am on a few cruises this year on various cruise lines. I am sailing over Thanksgiving and 4th of July as well as Memorial Day too. I suggest they try doing a test booking on web. Something doesn’t sound right

It seems to me for each cruise once final payment deadline has passed, they should have a handle on how many more booking can be accepted until sailing. It would be interesting if they had a system in place that shows remaining count per lifeboat. Also they should just not bother with guaranty selling and just sell rooms. Then later after final payment they could put rooms on sale to fill ship as needed.

I do spend 20k on cruising, however, full disclosure it is for 8-9 cruises in a year. So it goes to say how we spread our dollars differs from others.

Agree and a lot of places have a rule someone from the staff has to check the room at least once a day. I know they do this at Disney hotels.

oh yes I find them to be quite stealth. They listen for doors and pop head out of wherever they are. And I think even though there is a "Once a day service", if they see you and you ask for something I doubt they will turn you down. After, addl tips are still appreciated.

I think if your waiter will not accommodate you, just wave for the head waiter and mention a little thing called POST cruise SURVEY. That will solve the issue and you will be taken care of.
