    often new ships start in Europe and then come to the Fla area. That is when I like to try them and not pay a lot for airfare. This year all cities are about 2k (London, Copenhagen, Rome, Barcelona etc) so FLA it is for seeing new ships for me. Doing the Ascent in Nov 2024

    on some ships if there is a connecting room, then there is NO sofa.

    there were red ropes in front of the centrum stage on Vision of the Seas. I guess it was their idea of a barrier from musicians.

    even tried chrome with the help of someone and adjusted several settings. in the end NOTHING worked and I had to go to the app. just plain a mess. Funny Edge is fine for booking and paying. Never have issues with other cruise lines either just Disney. oh well

    yes it certainly has been nice to see a lot of LIVE's thread. Twangsters and Jim/Iain are two of the best IMHO but I still read others as well.

    For European trips books shore excursions beforehand so you won't be left out if it sell out. And DO in foreign cities consider ship excursions for piece of mind in ship waiting if the tour is late.

    I travel solo a lot and it is easy to meet people if you book excursions through the ship. Good idea anyways as they guarantee waiting for your return.

    i got the app to work but waiting for the email. This cruise in 4 weeks could be the first time ever I did not have any paperwork. Disney says just the check in portion of the process does not like MS Edge. I mean really Disney should fix this.

    well I for one would rather have a couple of quiet teenagers or kids than the loud rather drunken folks in the hot tubs. Not all adults in the area are respectful. And if a couple comes in with a baby who is NOT crying or a toddler for a say half an hour, I say folks just chill and mind your own business.

    after an hour or so and trying MS Edge and google chrome, the website is a failure. I was told to use the app. Anyone else have issues and what did you do? I even removed popup blockers as well. so frustrating that the support for reservations is better than on line check in

    great to hear. I sailed her in 2016 out of NJ with Capt Kate and this year I will sail out of Boston to NE. Speaking of ships, I am glad to be doing the Edge from Barcelona in August before she leave for Suez Canal and then Pacific Ocean and alternating with Alaska. She might not be in FLa for a while.

    yes I took photos back in 1985. I am on the Edge from Barcelona and one of my excursions is Papal trail that includes the summer houses and then back to Vatican. So I can not now take photos with my nice digital camera even with flash OFF. If true well thats just damn swell.....

    wishing you the best. I too get fatigue from lawn work. I kept my push gas mower as it is only 40 pounds to get in and out of car. But when mowing my yard that has some slopes, my back will be unhappy for half a day afterwards. toodles

    Nice you are on the Volendam on the way to Alaska. I watched the ship leave and she is a pretty ship. Have a nice cruise and photos are nice.

    Gee I know some folks thought Odyssey and Wonder were too big, but this is going the opposite way IMHO and too small.

    I would do Odyssey as the port is closer to airport than Cape Canaveral. Quantum class ships are fun and the Northstar is neat to go up in too. But I think Wonder is a good choice too for the great ice show and Aqua Show So pick one for 2024 and for 2025.

    Yup that is why and paper can be recycled too so good to have.
