Jim, I intended to climb Mount Maunganui last Oct 30th...but a gale had other ideas and the port was cancelled...I had been planning it for months but nature has a way of scuttling such things. Thanks for the photos!!

Only via the app...no ordering thru TV any longer. This was on the Majestic this past October. Other ships may not have caught up yet, I don't know. Had no problem using the app...worked fine...

It's luck (or no luck) of the draw. You make the call, but you can't expect a refund if the first excursion is late. In Naples, we booked Pompei in the morning and Herculaneum in the afternoon. 90 minutes in between. Worked out fine. This was June 2022. YMMV...good luck. (like in a casino, only bet what you can afford to lose...)

I think she means a Sunset Veranda...these are located at the stern of the ship and offer a great wake view. But of course you are correct in that the ship may not cooperate when it comes to an actual sunset. IMO calling it a Wake View Veranda would be more accurate description for those staterooms.... I love them, too...and they get snapped up very quickly...

Or does it show up on your booking? I haven't passed final payment as yet so I get the cancellation rider, etc. And do I get a confirmation email from X when it hits their system? Of course, I may have missed this info along the way whilst researching... Please, no advice why I should or why I shouldn't purchase it thru them, etc, etc. I'll make that call. I just want to know the process...if one exists...lol. Thanks! ETA: I already made the booking some time ago (months)...just didn't purchase insurance that day...
