  3. Like others, my April cruise on the Apex has the Black Friday discounts, my September cruise on the Eclipse does not. But I'll keep checking...you never know with their website updates... I was looking at excursions yesterday and was pleasantly surprised today!! Glad I waited...
  4. Thanks so much for your pics/posts. I am re-living our Med cruise on the Regal (21 days) in June '22. How was the humidity in Genoa and Livorna this time of year?? I imagine that it's also much cooler than June...lol...
  5. Yep. It is incredibly easy to pinch a part of your finger when they suddenly come together! Very painful...

  10. Thanks...yeah the rep spelled out and confirmed my email before she sent it. Everything was fine before I left...always got the email. The cruises have shown up on the website/app, so no problem there...and I always get the 'Prepare for your cruise' email the next day.
  11. Usually I get an email with confirmation and details about my booking. This hasn't happened for my last 3 bookings made this week. I checked my spam folder, checked what was in my Princess profile and everything was correct. I called Support (got thru in less than a minute!!) and requested she send me a copy. She reconfirmed my email and sent it. It never arrived. As anyone else experienced this?? Sorry if I missed any other threads on this... Thanks! ETA: I've been gone on a cruise for a month and have noticed some changes on the website so this could again be the work of the crack IT team...

  13. Hi. I had the very same experience whilst waiting for mine I live outside SF)...every day, tracking said USPS label was created and USPS was waiting for the medallion. This went on for over a week, week and a half. Then, about a week before my cruise (embarked 10/8/23), my medallion showed up...from NEW JERSEY!! Imagine my surprise. Meanwhile, the link they originally sent me showed it *still* showed USPS waiting...go figure. I hope you have a similar outcome!! But it is a tad nerve wracking...for no good reason... Have a great cruise!

  17. I had precisely the same thing happen to me on the Majestic Princess this past month on the repo cruise...all 26 of my (months ago) reservations were changed from 5:20 to 5:00. Private table, etc. Not a big deal as it turned out I wasn't happy in the MDR anyways. After 5 nights I cancelled them all anyways. Food was well...let's just say it's subjective and that this subject bailed. I was *very* happy with the buffet...was happy with the quality and had sooo many choices. Loved The Bakery! But I loved the ship, the crew and virtually every aspect of the cruise! And BTW, Alfredo's was a ghost town like all the time. I was the only customer one evening at 5:30. (Got a table by the window with no money changing hands...lol.) I was almost finished my meal when three other folks showed up. BTW, the service was fine and I had no problems getting a table.

  20. That's the way!! I did that once with my DW...scored mucho points...the look on her face was priceless!! And we had never been in Reserve Class (Club class back then...) before...it was delightful! I'm rooting for you!!
