Carlington Berry is definitely still with Royal. We first met him when he was the Suite’s concierge on Grandeur. He is from Jamaica and a super nice guy. Lucky man cruising to Alaska on Ovation. Hope there is someone good on Grandeur when we get there in December (or for that matter on Explorer in August)

You should probably just count yourself lucky, 🍀 I haven’t had any free offers except for my prime and earned one and promotional earned cruises based on points earned on a given cruise for since before the pandemic. It has been so variable for people. But since they have plenty of cruisers I would think the free ones are goi f dry up for a while

My current hypothesis is that they are not sending offers (beyond those from a promo for x points per cruise or the yearly status cruise) to those booked on multiple future cruises. Otherwise there seems no logical reason for the huge variability regarding the offers sent to casino royale patrons within the same play ranges. I dunno ..

Of course, I was only describing our own experience and that Paxlovid can shorten the time span. Seemed reasonable to ask

Seriously, we were quite cold. Hubby was raised in Chicago and he agreed it was far too cold for enjoying it as we would have wished. Of course weather changes year to year, but we had our thoughts of beautiful fall leaves and got the frozen and windy tundra 😂 I would suggest at least bringing some cold weather wear Icoat/ sweatshirts/etc) just in case if you are going in October. You will be okay in NY and MA, but as you get to Maine and up the chill gets pretty heavy. You will have a great time I am sure!

We love to use a signs, makes us feel like it is a real celebration - we have a few at this point, already have a special holiday one for the Christmas and New Year’s B2B in 2023 (yes, I do prepare early 😂)

If it helps your feelings any, when we did that itinerary in October we almost froze to death so you may have dodged a bullet 😂

We love the crown loft suites, but if you need boomchickawowow you likely need to get a separate room from the rest of the group. 💃🏼🕺🏼

Usually it is near the adult pool, one side of the ship (port side on many, but it varies). You could check past cruise compasses for a given ship to see where it is indicating designated smoking areas are located.

We were in suite’s on adventure twice and don’t recall any particular benefit to the dining room (except the ability to order from the main dining room for room service, something we actually somehow I’ve never done). I definitely did not feel that our tables were superior. Suites don’t get a lot extra on ships that size. Enjoy your sailing 😊

Correct, I actually saw one a month back where it was $1000 more to choose your own GS than to have them choose it (IT insanity I assume) 😳

Same for us - I think the Delta branded one that we have doesn’t have many of the usual promos for some reason. 💆🏼‍♀️

I dare not ever get this package. They would have to get me off with a fork lift! When we went to Disney World and my husband decided we should pay for that expensive unlimited photo package, I forced him to jump in front of every camera that we could find and with every Disney character for those five days to maximize the value 🤸‍♀️😭
