  1. I won't dine there either, but I have been there in the past. It's a buffet, which should tell you all you need to know. Really, you do not see a difference in a bathing suit vs. Shorts and shirt? Sorry, that is a you issue, not a me issue.
  2. For a long time, I have said the MDR is just barely a step up from Applebees, etc., and in my opinion was that way before the pandemic. Now with the food decline that I have experienced, we are getting closer and closer to what I would call a full service Golden Corral. I will dress as appropriately as I would in those venues... which means no bathing suit. My opinion only. 🤷‍♂️
  3. More like tradition than global standard. I do not participate in those traditions, I have my own. Another thing I find outdated... tablecloths. Again.. my opinion, not interested in changing anyone else's opinion as mine will not change either. Oh a someone posted above about 150CP not allowing shorts. Well, I have dined in Khaki shorts in 150CP on 4 of the 5 Oasis class ships, so not sure what that is all about.
  4. Hi, I must be doing something wrong. Every time I log into their website it has a pop up that says "If you are unable to see your cruise details and you have a reservation with us, please add your booking number in your Account Settings. If you do not have a reservation, now is the perfect time to start planning your next cruise vacation! Well, I cannot se my reservation so I hit the X and then it says "There is an error in your booking ID added, Please insert again." I hit the X on that screen and go to add the booking number again, and I get a pop up that says. "Booking number already linked." LOL When I try to go to cruise details, it goes in that same vicious circle. However, it did let me do check in, even though the cruise is in December, so I guess that is a good thing. The website just seems really clunky, and I can only imagine it is something I am doing. (Nothing could be worse than RCI IT... lol) Any thoughts on how to fix this, or if it just takes time? I did call in and speak to someone, and they just kept saying, it is all fine.
  5. I think so. I think there was a cage in the golden room on the Wonder. I cannot be 100% sure, because the money I took in there, did not leave with me. 🤣
  6. Dec(ish) 2021 into Feb or early March of 2022. Between restart and Dec(ish) 2021 there was smoking. Yep they changed it back, the first chance they got. Those casinos were pretty quiet during that 3 month time frame. (I can only speak to Odyssey, Allure, Indy, Freedom, Mariner, during that time period)
  7. They have them on Wonder, but not sure they make much of a difference. I cannot imagine why a glass(ish) wall right down the middle of an Oasis Class ship Casino would be very expensive, (comparatively speaking) and would seem to really make the folks happy that do not like that there is no physical separation.
  8. Fair enough, but I didn't respond to the NCL portion, I really responded to the "Royal doesn't get it," which they clearly do. It's also nice in there when you just want some peace and quiet from the main casino floor. I have went into the one on Wonder several times each cruise.
  9. What does this have to do with my response. The comment is about Royal, not Celebrity. What I cannot believe is that so many people think that Royal just leaves the smoking area so smokers can smoke. Are you kidding me? If Royal thought they would make $1 more by making it non smoking, they would do it in a heartbeat. It's about money... period. If a non-smoker does not like the smell... don't go. It's really that simple. Maybe if enough non-smokers do not go, it will affect the bottom line more than when smokers choose not to go when there is no smoking.
  10. I just updated mine last night about 15 minutes before they closed. Tote bag was one of them with no issues. This is business as usual.. one of the few companies I deal with where the people who represent the company generally have no clue about the company. Apparently Royal likes it that way.
  11. It's actually annoying. It's not like one set of elevators goes all the way up, like on previous classes... it's actually half the elevators on each side. So if you board an elevator that is non-glass, then you have to get off at 16 and walk up to 17, or press the up button again on 16, and wait for a glass elevator.
  12. I think they get it just fine, as Michael Bayley said back in June.
  13. My opinion, Blue Iguana is better. I really love the made to order breakfast burritos.
  14. There is still going to be the same non-smoking side in the main casino. The second room is just that, a second option that is non smoking as well.
  15. I have about the same list, although I move LL & DL a little higher up for me personally.
  16. There are also times even when general availability exists, that CR may not have anymore cabins available to be used for comp's on that particular sailing.
  17. Probably so. Two out of four times I was on it, the casino sucked. I just happen to really like the ship. I have only seen those baby devils on Indy & Mariner. The other variations of Wicked Wheel were on the Odyssey, they just happened to suck when I was there. Anyway, I just mentioned all the ones I mostly play were there. I did see a video recently that looks like they moved some machines around. I have been on 36 cruises since the restart, and unfortunately the last 6 months with all these new machines coming in (don't get me wrong I like a lot of them) the older less volatile machines are being moved out. I really like a balance of low & high volatility slots when I play, and that is becoming harder and harder to find. This upcoming year will likely be the last year I am Masters due to these changes. I just can't keep myself interested quite as long.
  18. They're not. They are a CLIA member cruise line, so they follow the gaming regulations of Nevada, New Jersey, and/or England.
  19. Odyssey was never destined for the asian market. That would be the Wonder that was rerouted. I have done Odyssey several times, and I love the ship. I have spent more time in that casino than I care to talk about, but I really have no idea what you mean about the machines, as I played the same machines on Odyssey that I play on any other ship. If you mean no older slots, then yeah I hear ya. Those are disappearing all together. I do love that Playmakers as well, and of course 270! I love Oasis class as well, but it's really hard for me to pick my fave between the two.
  20. I guess I get it, I get annoyed at folks who cannot handle their bags and slow everyone down on debarkation. Luckily now, I have been fortunate enough to usually be in the first 20-40 off the ship, and I can pass most of those folks in the terminal. 🤣 Yep not a money issue.. it's a time thing for me. I want to get on, unpack.... and get off right away, get to my car and go. I put everything in a rolling duffel on longer cruises, and for my 3/4 day cruises I have a rolling backpack.
  21. I board and go straight to my cabin and unpack. On the rare occasion that I get on board before cabins are open, I would not be caught in the WJ at all... anymore. I used to like to board early, but my rolling duffel never got in anyones way that I know of... can't even imagine how it could.
