  1. Probably need to set expectations on the highlighted one, during certain times. Lines are almost everywhere lately. Also to be fair, so people do not think that MSC charges for all shows... not all shows cost extra on MSC. All shows that are in the main theater are included, and you can use your drink package. The ones that cost extra are the Carousel productions, which are currently only on 4 ships, in the Carousel Lounge. The drink package does not work with that experience, but a drink comes with the price of admission, and is reduced if booked pre-cruise.
  2. No. It's unfortunate, as I get reminders on my watch that I have an upcoming event just like we get on the phones. Not sure when/if they will upgrade the functionality of chat to work with the watch.
  3. The upgrade fees generally fall under the associated penalty dates for that sailing. Taxes and Fees are always refundable.
  4. I really like the Tres Leches in the dining room.
  5. I am glad you enjoyed it. I was on this sailing as well, and it was my second time on Wonder. I like the ship. I agree that the Ice show is my favorite in the fleet, but the AquaTheater show was my least favorite. Voices was a fantastic show again as well, I would see it over and over. Food in MDR was blah at best, but Coastal Kitchen was great! Crew was great everywhere, especially the baristas. Elevators had long waits, but that is normal on Oasis class ships. Casino is my favorite in the fleet, I would not change a thing about it. I have two more booked on Wonder.
  6. Actually, I prefer the peppers as well.. even though I like the sun dried tomatoes too. The cream based sauce I will have to skip... oh well. I'm sorry they didn't have the sun dried tomatoes for you. 😞
  7. Did you happen to encounter the change in the Tagliatelle? Mariner on Jan 6 sailing was still the old menu, and when I went on night 3 it was a cream based sauce instead of oil. I thought maybe it was a one off, and they had an ingredient shortage or something. Well last week on the Wonder it was the same with the new menu. I asked, and was told it was changed to this cream based sauce. (Not mentioned on the menu BTW) It was more like Alfredo w/ pesto. I like Alfredo, but have to be in the mood for it. Sad for me, as the Tagliatelle with a side of the garlic shrimp was my favorite meal in the MDR. Oh well.
  8. Just off Wonder today as well. I agree 100%. Yep, the taco's I made at El Loco were pretty good. Actually they were better than in quality than anything brought to me in the MDR. Luckily, the CK menu has not changed yet and that was really good. However, when I ventured to the MDR, I regretted it. They have ruined my fave dish in the MDR. 😞
  9. RCI's competition is not HAL! Their primary competition is CCL, NCL, MSC. RCI is a mass market cruise line, and nothing more. Just off Wonder.. Taco Bell would be an upgrade compared to "Mexican Night" in the MDR. It is still available in CK (for now) and it was good!
  10. Freedom has Giovanni's Italian Kitchen as well. I like this "Italian" variation better than Giovanni's Table or Jamie's. It was fantastic on Wonder this past week. We sat outside in CP and I had fantastic seats for the show. Pool water, on formal night, randomly dropping down and soaking people as they walk by.
  11. Mason Jar was not good at all in November. I will not do that again.
  12. Except when MTD is used in the same area as traditional seating. Which has been frequently on Indy, not enough experience paying attention on other ship to say if Indy is the only one or not.
  13. In this case for Jan 15, it is just a 7 night. I just checked again since according to mabunc above, theirs on the 22nd is different. It is odd to have the "Royal night" on the last night. Of course this ship is currently on an 8 night, and as we all know their IT department is stellar, so I guess my menus for Sunday could somehow be bleeding over from the current sailing, and it will correct after w board on Sunday. We shall see.
  14. Especially since we know from the shutdown days that some ships can break even at 30-35% (I don't remember the exact percentage) occupancy according to their own earnings calls. Also, going back to my days with CCL, we certainly made a profit prior to the ship departure. Also, there was less onboard opportunity to make additional $$. (Less specialty dining for example) As @BND mentioned, most of the costs were fixed regardless of pax capacity. Food for example, in many cases would either be eaten or wasted.
  15. You are way off base here, as you usually are. I am not "only a loyal to royalist," and if you pay attention to my comments you will know that to be true. You however are "Mr. the sky is falling all the time," and should learn how to recognize that not everyone has an all or nothing view, as you seem to. I responded that I do not think they are taking Pinnacles for granted. What part of that is loyalist? Also how does this equate to fantasy, or as you call it "believing in the tooth fairy?" If it was loyalist, don't you think I would have agreed and stated why I think I am being taken for granted, and whine about everything I get or don't get? @Ocean Boy Is that sufficiently dramatic? 🤣
  16. Wrong. I am boarding the Wonder on Sunday, and ours is a bit different. Wonder January 15, according to the app. 1. Welcome Aboard 2. French Night 3. Italian Night 4. Mexican Night 5. British Night 6. Caribbean Night 7. Royal Night Attached British night menu from my app.
  17. I like both Columbus & The Book. Effectors I can do without. Columbus was in addition to a Broadway show, just like Flight & Blue Planet. I wish they would get back to that. Broadway + the original.
  18. I have a boarding time of 1pm for Mariner. Not sure if I want to leave early to deal with whatever they have decided to do with parking, since Mariner leaves terminal 5 tonight, and probably returns to terminal 1 on Monday. Im sure we are parking T5 and shuttling back over from T1 on Monday. UGH.
  19. Yep there is definitely a difference between the two, and both are equally valid for an adult. I would LOVE someone to have the jewels to tell me in person what I should be willing to eat because someone else decided it was reasonable for other people.
  20. As long as the color they provide matches the C&A status. I certainly do not want to be using a purple (D+) colored one to keep my conscience, or my back side clean. 🤣 Also, not sure what those statuses that do not have a wash & fold laundry included, are going to do... 😲
