  1. Seven euro round trip. USD not accepted in the machines, I believe credit cards may be, but I am not sure. Easy to find, walk right about 10 minutes as you leave the cruise ship dock. There was just one attendant a few weeks ago when I was there. She had limited English, and could not do currency exchange for a loud, embarrassingly insistent group who were trying to get to a beach.
  2. My HIA booking for February included 1 Tamarind, 1 Pinnacle Grill and 1 Canaletto. 21 days, perhaps that makes a difference.
  3. I know I am in the minority on Cruise Critic on this matter, but food has low importance in the list of reasons I cruise. Perhaps because I traveled for business for many years and ate at restaurants so very much. I eat to live now, not live to eat. Blu holds no interest to me. To me, the beauty of a B2B is not packing up in the middle. So, disrupting turn around day simply for access to a different restaurant would not even be a consideration. Do let us know what you decide.
  4. Celebrity offers 8 and 9 nights to A B and C from Ft Lauderdale.
  5. Yes, I was just there a few weeks ago.
  6. Check with Aristocat. We had a 7 -2 port time last May and they did a charter for us that worked well. You'll need a minimum of 10 - 12 for them to go. We did not do their regular Jost Van Dyke trip due to time constraints, rather we went right to White Bay. www.aristocatcharters.com
  7. If you are a AAA member, they have an affinity Visa that pays 3% cash back on all travel (cruise, hotel, airfare, car rental), grocery, and restaurants, and pays 5% cash back on gas.
  8. My first thought was "then branch out from the Holland America, there's a lot more interesting cruise lines!"
  9. This absolutely bears repeating. It seems that many people new to balcony cruising don't realize they are, in some cases, inches away from a stranger. Speak, and act accordingly!
  10. Just off the Enchanted and another passenger also gave me this idea. I only found ONE bartender all over the ship could make a Dry Manhattan, in spite of the fact that I said each time I ordered, "That's with DRY vermouth, not sweet". I don't have time to type all the variations that I got over the 10 days, it actually became comical. For the uninitiated, it's not one of those ridiculous blender concoctions that people drink only on a ship. It's a classic cocktail with two ingredients. Three, if you count the ice. Bourbon, and dry vermouth.
  11. Easily doable. It's about a 45 minute (plus or minus) drive between the 2 ports.
  12. There's not much to do there, either go to the botanical gardens or (most popular), take a catamaran trip over to Bequia.
  13. I was asking about the Grill, not the Bistro. The Day 1 Patter says it opens at 11. Appreciate the reminder to look it up. Unlike Itchy who enjoys Day 1 buffet, I find it akin to a double root canal .
  14. Since this is a food focused review, I wonder if you recall if the Salty Dog Grill was open on embarkation day for lunch. Or perhaps someone else knows. TIA
  15. Disregard, please. Wrong board. That's what happens when planning 2 cruises at once 😁
  16. How about the Salty Dog Grill on Enchanted on embarkation day? A burger by the pool sounds like another good alternative.
  17. Lucky you, always looking your best on embarkation day. Some of my past embarkation pix have been horrific. Folks may be travel weary, rushed, tired, hot, cranky, excited, or elsewise not looking their fabulous best when they arrive at the terminal for a quick snapshot. The photo I have uploaded for my last few cruises has my hair looking decent, lipstick on, and a happy, relaxed expression. Look good, feel good, right?
  18. You can get an Uber from Park Port Canaveral to the port if the shuttles are not efficient enough for you. I did once right after the startup last November when they were short drivers and vans. I don't recall how much, but it was worth it to me, since back then they had stricter adherence to boarding times. 5 - 10 minutes ride I parked with them again in April and they had everything together by then. They do load and go by cruise line, and first come, first served. If you do Uber, tell them you are at the parking lot facility, not at the Radisson front door, so they can find you easier.
  19. You will get more up to date info by calling the hotel directly, rather than asking here on a cruise related chat site.
  20. Once the E docs - Guest Ticket Booklet - are available, the bag tags will be the last or second to last page. I personally save the whole thing as a PDF and then print the bag tag page from the PDF but you can probably print the single page directly from the E doc. You don't need to print the whole 12 pages.
  21. Enchantment is currently sailing from Ft Lauderdale. Perhaps someone recently or currently on board can comment.
  22. I like to have my bearings ahead of time, rather than stand in the middle of the fray, holding up traffic, looking around like a lost tourist. TIA
