  1. This was our experience Sept on Venezia. We dropped our bags, grabbed our keys and left to go eat.
  2. So he can bring on Coke as many (including my sister) do. I think it's a pain, but if that's what a person likes to drink at least it's an option.
  3. @Heidi13 @chengkp75 are either you able to provide insight?
  4. Bon Voyage to you all! @Sharon in AZ @summer slope @dfish & Sue @Hogladyrider I'm a little jelly 😉
  5. Don't see people actually write much anymore, never thought about measuring my feet. Would try the meal, drink & wine; not been to the port. Currently 43°, feels like 39° headed to 54° with rain - still feels cold but so much better than what we had, almost warm enough to turn the heater on.🙄 Will try to get to PT today. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  6. Oh my gosh - I hope that does not happen to you. I know you'll probably get a scripted answer, but can you call HAL Reservations and ask if they can tell you your cabin number? Just to see what they do say.
  7. Yes bringing onboard at the start is different than bringing on at a port stop (other than select European cities). So they should have let you keep them. But if it was a port stop, they should have kept them and returned last night 2nd leg
  8. Adding on to @oakridger great screenshots, if you need to make adjustments to dining such as changing a date on the reservation, after you cancel, you'll see the credit immediately restored so you can use it again to rebook the new dinner.
  9. And be sure your check in tasks associated with your booking have all been completed for each person on the booking.
  10. @Hellow1984 I took these pictures this month while on the K'dam showing both the cabin doors and bathroom doors are metal - they did a good job of holding magnets.
  11. Transferring the booking to a TA should not change anything on your side unless your TA gives you OBC or something else from the agency. The only difference I've seen when I transfer a booking is the final due date is 10 days less once it's moved over to the agency. What you see online will be different as there is some info that only the TA can see (final payment date being one). But again, the details of the booking should all remain intact. PCCs don't get commission, but their performance is tracked, so it will go as a lost sale, of sorts, as a booking can't have both a TA and a PCC.
  12. I have not received a printed deckplan since the restart. When it's working correctly, there is one in the Navigator App that defaults to ypur current ship.
  13. Thanks @matymil for your insights and observations. We did B2B Venezia from NYC Sept 2023. Mostly liked the ship (did not like: smoke smell from casino all the way up to 7 mid-ship elevator, narrow hallways, small pool, lack of self laundry), noticed a few small maintenance issues (missing door plates, broken hinges in cabin) and found MDR service to be uniformly slow. The item for us that makes it a No Go is the port at debarkation - waiting in major rainstorm (not NYC fault, lol) for pre-paid airport shuttle that had not been ordered by the ship. Ugh... We had a few rude or less than friendly people during the cruise, but no more so than any other cruise from any other port. We encountered some ill-mannered children, but no more than usual (but we try real hard not to go to Caribbean during school breaks & this itinerary was Canada) and heard yelling a few times but did not see any fights or aftermath of any. I'm sorry your son had to see what must have been a very confusing incident and applaud your efforts to help the girl & her mother and do the right thing. JFK has some cool art, FWIW.
  14. @broberts all off and "do not track" is on. I've read there are some that are exempt from the settings due to their contracts w/Google. But I'm sure this helps a LOT.
  15. No, never to soot, ever. But once in a rare occasion will smell smoke - we think it's coming from a violator smoking on their balcony. No way to know for sure, but it's been brief and very few times.
  16. I'm so excited to see your penguin pictures from today - it's like Christmas is coming again!! I hope you enjoy the Orange Party.
  17. No, AARP OBC is not limited to 1 cruise per year. We got it last year for 4 of our cruises; the 5th one was not eligible due to the rate. And yes it is combinable - all those cruises also had Military OBC. We got SOBC on the 4, but also not the 5th one again during to the rate. Absolutely call back.
  18. @atexsix Bruno - my heart goes out to you. Watching a love one go through what your Dad is is exhausting and heartbreaking. Words seem so shallow, but I hope you find a way to cherish the moments you have with him and you take a breath when you need to. You & your dad are in my thoughts and prayers.
  19. We canceled and rebooked without issue. Once was OBC, which was immediately put back into our booking so we were able to use it on the rebooking. The other was CC - it took a couple days to get credited so we had to do another charge to rebook, but got the credit no issue. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise!
  20. Yep, Big Brother sees all - you did that to yourself, lol. If you figure out how to stop it, let us know.🙄
