Agree with poster above and was typing the same response -- use the booking number to go to the airline's site direct and see if you can select seats. I have also had my September flights changed several times and it's typically been either a few minutes difference in the arrival/departure times or something as small as a flight number change.

I booked 2 excursions last week online using OBC for both myself and my husband. Had no problems. Put the excursions in my cart, clicked pay now, and it took the OBC off and I paid the small remaining amount with my CC.

You can enjoy Piazza activities at many seating areas without dining tables. Why should you take up a dining table to sit and listen to music? Maybe I'm just more self-aware of my fellow cruisers or diners in general. Much the same as I would not sit and talk after a meal at a restaurant where I could see people waiting for a table. It's called consideration for others.

Not Vines but I got annoyed on our last cruise with all the people playing cards or other misc activities at the very few tables adjacent to the International Cafe. So you get your snack or sandwich or whatever, and there's nowhere to sit down and enjoy it. If I was sitting there playing cards and saw people with plates of food looking for somewhere to eat I would MOVE. There are a myriad of other places you could sit and play games or whatever. The tables there should be for those eating IMO. Rant over 🙂

It's for this very reason I dislike queries that ask 'what is the best XYZ' fill in the blank. Be it food dish, excursion, show, etc. Everyone's tastes, budgets, energy levels, etc are different. There is no 'best' for everyone.

They are still going to see everyone's movements on CCTV as has been repeatedly stated. It's paranoia over nothing. If it's that uncomfortable for him maybe cruising isn't for him.

I don't understand why they can't fix the glitch about 2 or 3 people in a room and the room results you get. So annoying! They've admitted it's a problem -- so fix it! OK, rant over 🙂

And cameras all over the ship so they know where everyone is at all times anyway -- don't need the app to track people. But these points have all been cussed and discussed on here multiple times so it's nothing new unfortunately.

It's been years since we sailed on the Crown so I can't speak to her current condition. But we have been to Alaska and that is the focus of the trip! Enjoy the scenery and beautiful surroundings, focusing on the unique experiences you'll have there. Most days we were enjoying our excursions or activities way too much to worry about what time the MDR seating was. Focus on sailing through Glacier Bay National Park -- not hustling to the dining room. Or eat on shore! We had some magnificent seafood while in ports. Don't worry and go have a good time 🙂

Thanks for the feedback. At least I know I wasn't just missing it on the website 🙂 Is walking to the London Eye an option from Victoria? It doesn't look that far on Google Maps but I know sometimes what you see on a map and what it looks like in person are vastly different, i.e. elevated roads, no side walks, etc.

Does anyone know if the canal boats all take the same route? Do they all go by and/or stop near the Anne Frank House? We are taking a tour through Princess that includes the canal in the morning and 4 hours of free time in the afternoon. It doesn't say where the canal cruise begins or ends. I'd like to get Anne Frank House tickets in advance but wasn't sure if our canal cruise would be anywhere near that, or if we'd be able to at least see it from the outside during the canal cruise. Thanks to anyone who has some info. I've looked online but haven't been able to find a specific answer.

Would you happen to have a link or tour title for this? We are staying in Victoria and I had looked on the Golden Tours website for a possible tour that leaves from and returns to Victoria Coach Station but couldn't find one. Seeing your comments above made me go look again, but I'm still not seeing it. I see an open top bus that leaves from the London Eye, and a 10-hour London tour with several stops that begins at Victoria Coach Station but ends at the Tower of London. Thanks for any help you can provide.

When I read all this angst over meal times I wonder how people function in their daily lives. Do you have a rigid set dining time every single day at home? When you go to your local restaurant do you demand the same table with the same wait staff? We cruise for the ports & ocean views. I truly can't understand basing your vacation schedule around meal times in the same venue every night.

I guess that's another reason to not wait until the last minute to book excursions if you know you want it.

We are Princess loyalists who just returned from Hawaiian cruise on NCL. We had a great time due to the unique itinerary, and really didn't care that much about the ship -- it was a floating hotel used for every day ashore. I would never take Princess HI cruise due to number of sea days vs port. Nonetheless we are looking forward to being back 'home' on Princess for our next 2 cruises. We haven't set foot in the MDR for anything other than muster and merch sales for years. Seeing the pictures of long lines reminds me why. We frankly couldn't care less about MDR dining and it doesn't impact us.

We have used EZ several times and always paid baggage fees when not flying first class.

I know, I was responding to the person who said international flights include baggage fees.

The reviews I've read from current passengers were along the lines of 'way too big & too much waste'.

That's interesting as the screenshot I posted above from the Princess website about not including baggage is from my international flight to Heathrow.
