It's not true. They made it up. Only Columbia on my 10 day still requires testing. Then nothing on all my booked 9 cruises. I did wish I'd done the covid booster but I was sick then my mom and just was so busy and didnt get it. I got sick on allure and still cant quite shake it. Took a test onboard said I was negative. Never believed them. Just meant I didnt get isolated, but for sure was still sick. Tested positive home test. Not required though. It's up to you.

Excursions wouldnt go below 35% off. If you can book that cheap grab it now. Black friday I had 1 out of my 9 booked cruises that low. I had some last sept for 30% off.

No it was shaded pretty much 100%. There is a tall divider that blocked the sun. I also cant sit in the sun, so this was my favorite.

Corner aft deck 9, so smaller balcony than what you can book with 3. Non sliding door.

I love the aft view so I'd choose that over anything else as a preference if money didnt matter. I've seen the spacious balconys and they appear to have more space at the foot of the bed for walking thru. I'm solo so it wouldnt be that important but extra space is nice. I kept my b2b in dec for the extra pts. .. so if a JS wasnt double a balcony, I'd get one, but on oasis class inside balconys such a good deal, good to me. Most of my bookings are oasis class. On your class .. it just depends on if that next tier has anything you want. I wanted 340 for the solo discount. Upgraded toiletries nice. Nothing at 525 I care about. Pinnacle so far away. Now I dont care .. lol at least as much. I did a corner aft on liberty and long walk but motion no issue,,..depends on your weather so much. I did end boardwalk, all the way aft, long walk to end of aft on allure but I did feel some extra motion that week.

I used to gr theirs until last sept. It was the sourest ever. They used oranges that were rancid. It tasted like acid. Burned my throat. Stupid to use oranges they had to have known by the feel were bad.

The free italian is different than the dinner. I like the prices for paid restaurants..and the steak place has surf n turf included.

I have yet to find a cruise my TA couldnt make a group of just me. A group of 1 and it's a better price than I see online. I'm not saying there arent exceptions, but i havent seen them. Sometimes later the price does drop and i have gotten out of the group. Everything in my signature is a group rate and refundable.

I would NOT do royal up with 2 cabins. You risk not being together or one is approved not the other. Royal up is only if you dont care where your cabin is, like a gty. Yes if one adult gets the drink pkg in a cabin both must purchase something, but one can get the refreshment pkg instead by calling. The key is worth it more for newbies imo. Saves maybe 15 minutes or so boarding. Wifi the whole cruise. I get 2 free days of wifi and 5 drinks a day and b2b usually a turn around lunch. For me it's a pass. Flowrider is free and it's open a lot. My friends rode it daily. I had a cabin end of boardwalk and watched the kids do the rock climbing wall all day. It's free. They close it to wash it down. Zip line free but often a wait. Only tie shoes allowed. No slip ons for this. Ice skating is free but not open as much.

Depends when you are going. Downtown during spring break, march 11, my next cruise, hotels are mostly $400 and up for decent near the port. I'm staying out by the airport. My hotel sold out, but must later have had some cancellations as now its asking double what I booked at. If it's a busy time of year book early.

My friend booked one of these for allure 12/11 and when he arrived at the port was told a performer wanted his cabin, he was moved to a central park balcony. He went and complained and got a obc for 25% of what he had paid. Sounded more than fair to me.

TAs have group rates which for me are always a bit less and the deposit is refundable. All mine are refundable up until final payment.

Cruises 7 days and over have lobster tails. Perhaps 6 days but I havent done any 6 day cruise. Cruises shorter than that dont usually have them, though I got them on grandeur. Always some exceptions, but its length of cruise not ship.

You only get to eat once in ala carte like playmakers per day. It's one allowance per day not unlimited.

Izumi sure cut down portions. The meal used to be too much to eat but might not be now with smaller portions. I noticed on allure solarium is Brazilian at night. Harmony says its ala carte and a different menu for solarium dinner. No menu provided for harmony ala carte.

I've seen people who used it for lunches. I think the only thing is it has to be used day 1 or 2 for the first use. Well I'm solo so I get buy one get one free later I can book.

I just read that cozumel closed at 3 pm today because of high winds. If ships are docked, stay docked. No more allowed to dock. I think closed tomorrow too.

I had 2 kinds of lounge chairs you can see, a brown tannish more upright one and the regular blue one plus the small chairs and table.

The picture is from deck 10. Central park was deck 8, so I'm 2 decks up. I have deck 12 booked on harmony. I'm not sure if it goes to deck 14. When the stewards start at 8 am, you can hear them banging around in the storage, or I heard them. They come back around 5 pm. There was some noise from the stewards I heard. No one ever mentions it, but I noticed. Maybe most arent in their cabins much.
