  1. Never heard of them but that doesn’t mean they aren’t reputable….
  2. Here is a list of some of the popular shuttles in the area….
  3. Cocoa Beach is not that far from the port. Uber or taxi would be your best option unless you are staying at a hotel that has a shuttle…
  4. Where are you staying? That might help people to make suggestions
  5. Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral are right next to each other. You would have no problem getting an Uber to the port anywhere in Cocoa Beach
  6. We always drive down and have always stayed near the port. Sadly the price in Canaveral for all hotels has gotten ridiculous. Now we book early and stay in Titusville. Rates are so much better (if you book early) and we are only 20 min to the port.
  7. The hotels closest to the port (less than a mile) that I would recommend are: *Hampton Inn Cruise Port/Home2Suites *Homewood Suites *Springhill Suites *Towneplace Suites *Residence Inn
  8. Long overdue!!! The current Terminal G is in dire need renovation!!!
  9. we did this (before covid) and loved it!!! At that time we went on the Port of Tampa parking garage website and prebooked and prepaid for parking including the valet portion. looks like valet is still an extra $20….what a bargain!!! http://tampacruiseparking.carparkusa.com/cruise_parking.html
  10. We drive down so we do self assist and are always headed to the garage. Every time there is always a lot of shuttles are already out there waiting even at 6:45-7:00am How early the companies allow you to book would be up to them…
  11. CALL!!! Don’t send in a form!! I just called yesterday and got a $560 price drop on our October cruise!! It took all of 5min….
  12. this is where for years we have gotten our quotes and purchased our policies… www.insuremytrip.com
  13. Not sure how many cruises you have been on, but the procedure you described is exactly what happens to EVERYONE when there is an accident of this nature. You were not treated badly and had this occurred on any other cruise line the protocol would have been exactly the same. Royal did everything correctly……you however, not having trip insurance, created this burden.
  14. For a 7 day cruise I bring at least $100 in ones for drink tipping. Then we bring another $100-$200 in $5’s, $10’s, and $20’s to use for extra tipping at the end of week
  15. If you want WiFi for the whole cruise is it much cheaper to give up your Diamond discount and purchase a package before your board. onboard prices are crazy and would negate any benefit to using your one day discount…
  16. We sail on Royal Caribbean. We have AT&T for our cell service. We buy the ship’s WiFi pkg, put our phones on airplane mode and turn on wifi calling…..we can then send and receive calls/texts just like we were at home.
  17. Just down the street from the Country Inn and Suites is Park Port Canaveral. They have a fenced and paved lot with continuous shuttles.. If you have to go there to get the shuttle why not just take your car then? Not understanding the convenience of trying to drop it off early….
  18. Some suggestions for shuttles in the area…
  19. Just came here to say I no longer look at this category because I do not like the new format…..
  20. The hotels closest to the port (less than a mile) that I would recommend are: *Hampton Inn Cruise Port/Home2Suites *Homewood Suites *Towneplace Suites *Springhill Suites *Residence Inn
  21. We check and verify charges before we leave the ship. In 55 cruises we have never had an itemized bill that was emailed to us….
  22. A lot of people swear by these because they are all natural…
