  1. I'm excited for this....You always do such a great job a documenting the little things on the ship. Nice to see it happening on the latest and greatest.
  2. Now I did enjoy that when we were on the Mardi Gras. I was referring more to the standard menu.
  3. Exactly. We tried to like it multiple times always hoping they stepped it up because I really want to like it. The only thing I can think for those who rave about it is they simply do not have a selection of real BBQ at home to compare it to. We are disappointed every time.
  4. Around 5pm....I remember it was our pre-dinner snack.
  5. Hmmm.....last month on the Elation there were 10 orders ahead of us. They gave us a 30 minute wait.
  6. They seem to stay busy on the Elation. We got a pre-dinner roll a couple of nights and usually ordered the sushi boat that is served in the MDR at least once per cruise.
  7. It doesn't have a sushi restaurant either.....it is a walk up service counter.
  8. I would do the Lido cabin. I find the convenient location pays for itself time and time again over the cruise. We have long got away from the 'have to have a OV or balcony' phase and will gladly stay in an interior. We spend the majority of our time outside the cabin and they usually aren't worth spending the extra money to upgrade.
  9. I have been on it twice in the past few months. As long as you have expectations appropriate for a Fantasy Class ship you will have a good time.
  10. Carnival is focusing on the new cruiser. Those cruisers are eager to explorer the common ports longtime cruisers want to avoid. They also have no expectations from the prior food and service standards.
  11. Brunch....yes. Amazing....not anymore.
  12. I think it was just the low hanging fruit. It had the least profit potential of anything they sell alcohol related. Sure $60 profit is nice but they can make more if they serve it by the drink at the bar. From the outside people who are concerned say 'well Carnival IS doing something' but in the end not much changed.
  13. LOL....I hope no one is surprised when the 'guests are not longer permitted to bring on wine' email comes out.
  14. We stay on the ship just about anything we visit Nassau. We have a great time. The pool is open and food is served normally. They will also be a few bars open and still some organized activities. Great day to explore the ship and relax without the crowds.
  15. LOL.....$35 billion in debt that is still increasing by $8 million a day at this point. I would go all in!!!😆
  16. .....and it could also be a total loss as debt increase by the millions each day.
  17. I have found it much harder to get unopened beers now that everything is cans instead of the aluminum bottles.
  18. We just take our own plastic straws. After being totally disappointed in the sugar straws one cruise we brought the reusable ones next time. It was just too much of a hassle because they were always a sticky mess. It is amusing....people are on a cruise ship which is one of the most polluting form of vacationing in existence after most flew on a plane to get there. They are surrounded by nothing but excess all week but have decided eliminating straws is saving the world.
  19. There was a time there was a paper voucher left in the stateroom....now you just order and they add the credit to the check.
  20. The drinks get more expensive but the voucher amount remained the same. We used to get the Blood Mary completely covered by the voucher, now it is $10.95 so you have to pay the $1.
  21. .....this will be next is the US market.
  22. Not anymore. Taco bowls have been gone for months.
