  1. When I was on the Allure last month there wasn't the prade, no Mamm Mia due to COVID, there were no behind the seans tours and some other activities were cut back.
  2. RCL has discontinued the 16 oz Miller Lite in aluminium cans which was my favorite.
  3. Actually there are no coupons the perks are added to your key card hint, get your adult beverage at a bar and take it into the MDR, quicker.
  4. I did a b-3-b May/June on the Allure and a new cast was brought in and they quickly came down with COVID and there were no shows for one week.
  5. If you want to save your vouchers for adult beverages later, order a glass of water, not a bottle of water otherwise it will cost you one of your vouchers, bottle water no longer free.
  6. I did a b-3-b on the Allure last month and the sandwich was not that good, the server was cutting up a strange cut of beef. The bread was great but, the gravy was pure salt, not worth eating, try one of the premade offerings instead.
  7. Hint, when you change your shower curtain liner save the magnets for your next cruise.
  8. I was on the Allure last month and many doors were decorated, if you decide to decorate your door you need to use magnets instead of tape.
  9. I was on the Allure last month and COVID hit toward the end of the cruise.
  10. Sometimes I like to take a large salad back to my balcony, just ask and a staff member will cover your plate in a plastic wrap.
  11. Depends on the cruise director, plus with the COVID restrictions I doubt to much will haooen.
  12. On my last visit went to the beach with the swin/walk up bar, I did not tip the lounger guy and when I returned my lounger was gone but my stuff was there.
  13. Did a b-3-b on the Allure in June, the 1st week about 1/2 the loungers around the pools were empty, the 2nd week only about 1/4 of the loungers were empty, the 3rd week most all the loungers were in use.
  14. I was on the Allure last month, formal nights were 2nd and 7th nights, 1st formal night had Prime Rib which was great, and the 2nd formal night had lobster, order 2/3 they are small.
  15. Last month when I was on the Allure, took the tour and spent less than an hour at the beach, IMO the tour was not worth the money, my advice, rent a cab to see the sights or go to the beach.
  16. Tip - I just did a b-3-b on the Allure and I found that waiting an hour after the WJ opens you will have a better experience, not as busy.
  17. I recently finished a b-3-b on the Allure and the Diamond + perks were great, got a free bag of laundry each week, and had other items cleaned with a discount. Five complementary drinks each day and two days of wi-fi each week and the snacks during happy hour in the Diamond Club were great!
  18. I was on that sailing and it was no mystery illness, the cast came down with COVID.
  19. I had a half full bottle of water and a security guy shook the bottle, saw no bubbles and gave the bottle back to me.
  20. To answer some questions, the ship was full around 5k passengers, the Allure has just started one behind the seans tour for top tier C&A members. As for documentation, my COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card was not reviewed however, my COVID test from CVS was looked at quite closely. We did not try Samba's, and yes I did ride the trolley, very nice dubble decker whichs takes about 15/20 minutes to go the entire length and at the end of the line there is a 15 minute break and then starts back. Unfortunately many of the stores were closed, but well worth the ride.
  21. I'm just off the Allure and would like to share some hits and misses, check in was e-z, however my COVID document was scrutinized. My bag was delivered to the wrong cabin, so I went on a luggage hunt and found my bag after about 10 minutes. Enterminent, no Mama Mia due to the cast having COVID, no Quest, and the Headliner Shows and Comedy Show was average at best. Food, Windjammer OK, Park Cafe, salads good, but the roast beef sandwich was a big miss, Main Dinning Room, our service was great, the beef dishes were outstanding, the other options not so good, example Tiger Shrimp dish were 5 memium regular shrimp. The staff could not do enough for us and the ship was very clean and our room guy was the best. However, after day 5 it was a little unsettling seeing people in Haz Mat Suites on our deck. In Aruba there is a free hop on hop off trolley worth taking that is close to the point where the ship docs. All in all it was a very nice cruise experience.
  22. I have been told there is a testing facility on 17th St between the Embassy Suites and the port. Does anyone have the address and what are the charges?
