  1. I had a case on one sailing where others on the Roll Call were saying their CVP was able to reprice their suite when all suites had been sold out for quite some time. My TA said he couldn't see the current rates on his system. After multiple people also reported being repriced he was able to contact someone at Celebrity and eventually got it repriced on 2 sailings, saved $2250. It appears that Celebrity reps can see the prevailing rates. I suspect they are not supposed to reprice but it appears it does happen. Not sure TA's have the ability.
  2. The April Connie TA I booked a couple weeks ago is $300 more with $300 less OBC for an Oceanview cabin. Over a 40% increase. To me the 40% is in the wrong direction!! Don't get me wrong I'm very happy with the old price.
  3. Closest stripe. They should involve security. If nothing happens then Guest Relations Director then Hotel Director.
  4. They are notorious for not updating their "Last Updated" dates on their documents. They have never heard of revision control.
  5. The executive office is probably the right place to go at this point. They can investigate what's happened so far. They are pretty responsive to issues like this.
  6. It's available until they start open tendering (without calling numbers). Generally the first couple of hours.
  7. They were smart enough to remove the stupid statement about minimal to no impact to guests. But the last sentence is still ill conceived. Is this a change or just a test?
  8. I meant to say no caffeine
  9. They don't have the diet versions of either of these. Only Sprite Zero is no calorie no caffeine free.
  10. From everything I read the highest percentage (by far) of people who vape are in the 18-24 demographic. About 1/2 of that demographic can't drink on Celebrity.
  11. @RichYak Can you send me an email at wrk2cruise @gmail.com, I have a question for you on another topic.
  12. Coke Zero, Diet Coke and Sprite Zero are all available onboard Celebrity ships.
  13. I hope the people onboard these sailings are providing feedback on their end of cruise surveys giving the casino a 0 out of 10.
  14. That's unusual. Usually real Champagne is only provided in RS and above. Even CS generally gets Celebrity Vintages sparkling wine.
  15. We are on the TA prior to the dry dock and not concerned. We were on the ship this April/May for 38 days and the ship was in good condition and the crew great which is the reason we booked again for next year.
  16. In Luminae and Blu the tips are pooled. I have no idea or care how they are distributed. The Sommelier is not included.
  17. @Kevin Stick to your guns. I'd assume they have escalated this to the resolutions department. If you didn't have the screen shots you wouldn't have a chance. Since you have the screen shots there is a chance they will honor it although they have been reneging on many errors lately. This is a case where a good TA can be a help as they have other channels to get these types of issues resolved. I had a similar issue awhile back and it did get resolved in my favor (but not retreat access) but my TA had used his sales support channels. Probably fruitless to respond to others here as the only thing that counts at this point is if Celebrity will honor it's misrepresentation presented to you during the sales process and including in the sale summary before you pushed "Book It".
  18. No you only got the OBC if you booked another cruise at prevailing rates. I don't believe if you cancelled that they would allow the OBC to be applied to another existing reservation but it would be worth at try.
  19. It was pork and beans and more a play on words I think. I didn't have it but I believe it was roast pork with some sort of beans as the veg.
  20. I would suspect that even if the ship is sold out they would still run the MoveUp process. There are always last minute cancellations.
  21. I don't think you would have any problem getting a $0 slip to add a gratuity in the specialty.
  22. The invoice should have a line item indicating Retreat or in the Promotions section some indication of Retreat. I would be very surprised if Celebrity IT could get this right when booking via the web site. I'd make sure I had a copy of all the screen shots which seem to indicate what you thought you were booking include the Retreat for both rooms.
  23. In the past they were very clear that vaping was considered the same as smoking wrt the policy. I can't say I've payed any attention to this topic since I've been on multiple Celebrity sailings per year since 2004 and I do remember a time where there was smoking it was so long ago I forget when it changed. The current FAQ's seem to go to great detail to NOT specifically say smoking is only allowed in specified outdoor areas. It lists several places but certainly leaves out several open deck areas.
  24. Looks like they have made changes to their smoking policy in the FAQ's to support this. In casinos on itineraries where smoking is allowed, there will be visible signage designating the areas for both smoking and non-smoking guests. I hope they will advise which itineraries they are going to designate as casino smoking allowed. It also seems to indicate that there will be areas where smoking is not allowed. I'm getting a little tired of all these silent policy changes.
