C-Dragons

On our last TA on Beyond we had just left the Mediterranean Sea and entered the Atlantic heading towards the US. The Captain made an announcement that we were turning back towards Gibraltar due to a medical emergency. We were having dinner at the Rooftop Garden Grill and watched as a helicopter approached, hovered overhead, then lowered a gurney. A few minutes later a passenger was hoisted up and the helicopter flew away. Everyone was happy to later hear that the passenger had received treatment and was doing fine. Medical emergencies do happen but X's crew is trained to handle them. 👍

From what I'm gathering from reading this thread, you’d feel like a Survivor when you finish the webinar. 😉

We prefer the longer cruises. Next up are 2 TA's, one Eastbound and one Westbound.

You can continue to blame X, but, IMO it's a waste of energy. 😉 This same scenario could have applied to any cruise tour “package" sold by any cruise line. As far as “Flights by Celebrity” go, X has no control over scheduling, cancellations, etc., as these are regularly scheduled flights that anyone can book, X just has negotiated airfares with certain carriers. Personally I would have my TA working on a replacement trip. Wishing you the best of luck.

We started off with Edge, then sailed Apex and our next cruise is on Beyond. We have 2 on the books for Ascent, she's the one I'm really looking forward to! 😎

For us the ship is the destination, no matter where it's sailing. 😊 Currently the E-class are our favorites.

We just have a short conversation with the Butler on boarding day. They usually take notes. We are low maintenance too and of all the Butlers we have had over the years, only one provided poor service.

Ah, the Penthouse… been there, seen it, and yes, it is really nice! But we love the view from the AFT.

Personally, we would book an S1 on the AFT if it was available. Considering your available choices, we would book on deck 11. Luminae is far forward on deck 12 so you could either take the elevator, or walk up one flight of stairs to get to it, which is what we have done before. Enjoy your cruise on the Edge! We did, 5 times. 😁

After 20 years in the Travel business I really don’t need anyone to define a “private tour” for me. And for the record, stuff does happen, not because others are idiots, as you said. ☮️
