And what's an extra couple of dollars when you are already spending four figures to take the cruise?
-
Take them out of the line and let them argue there.

Here's an idea: They should match your digital debark time to when they scan your Sail and Sign for the last time as you leave. Imagine getting in line early, getting all the way to the scan, and the machine beeps in a weird way and the security officer says., "I'm sorry, you aren't scheduled to get off for another hour. Come back then." That would stop the cheating pretty quickly. 😁

They all accept dollars as well

IMO the challenge with YTD and a large party would not be on Carnival's side, but yours. Unless all 10 of you spend the entire day together, contacting everyone in your party to determine what time everyone wants to eat and then actually having all of them show up in a timely manner will be quite a chore. I would recommend either getting set time dining or deciding up front that the entire party does not necessarily need to eat together every night.

If you want to do something different, I would recommend taking the Cozumel Bar Hop. They take you to the other side of the island and visit 3-4 beach bars. It's very reasonably priced, too. https://cozumelbarhop.com/

I think the chances of Vista still having issues in mid-December is extremely low. Even if they have to put it into dry dock, they would have 3 months to fix it.That is an eternity in terms of ship repair, especially when they are losing millions of dollars on every cruise they have to cancel. In any case, you should purchase trip insurance, which I would advise whether you are on the Vista or on any other vacation where you have significant amounts of money at risk.

You will not be able to see the Fun Times on the app until you get on the ship.

What If I Do My On-Line Check-In "Late"?

Absolutely not. They want passengers onboard ASAP so they can start spending money. And there's nothing wrong with that. -
Need Help... Carnival Changed Our Itinerary
staceyglow replied to Supercrossfox21's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Honestly, I don't know why people believe Nassau is unsafe. I have been there several times and felt perfectly comfortable walking around, and I have never heard of a tourist being a crime victim while I was there. On the other hand, I have met more than person who has had their wallet and passport stolen by a pickpocket in Europe. -
If you do run into trouble with a screener, I would have them call over a supervisor. All alcoholic beverages sold in the US are clearly marked as such, including the warning that pregnant women shouldn't drink them.
-
Much easier to call the PVP. Ours is super responsive, and doesn't mind doing this for us at all. Plus you get immediate confirmation while you are still on the phone with them.
-
Maybe that's because the folks who book on the Excel-class ships typically don't care about itineraries. Why spend the money to drive all the way down to the ABCs when the customers would be perfectly happy in the Bahamas and Cozumel?

Longer than 7 or 8 days.
-
On longer cruises, they will fly in additional variety acts for the main theater (magicians, singers, jugglers, etc.) for the extra days. The quality of these acts vary from near-Broadway level to third-rate theme park level. Often they will do a showcase in the main theater that features all of the comedians who are currently onboard. What they don't do is repeat or add any Playlist Production shows on the longer cruises.
-
On more recent cruises I have taken, there is a slip to sign even if there is no charge, with the opportunity to add a tip.
-
No, they are not.
-
But everyone can. 😀 I simply gave a reason why I do.
-
PVPs typically have access to that. One of the reasons we one. She kept track of all of our FCC from Covid cancellations and rebooks. I don't know how I would have been able to do it without her.

DOES SOLD OUT CRUISE EVER RE-OPEN?
staceyglow replied to SeaNStars4Me's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
They open back up all the time as people who have small deposits down cancel their reservations. A good time to look is right after final payment due date, when Carnival typically releases the cabins for which they did not receive payment for. -

You are asked each time you check in to dine on the Hub app. -
Booked Sunrise for Halloween bring a costume ?
staceyglow replied to phoneman69's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Yep. If you are a light packer like I am, you might not want to waste room on a costume I enjoy seeing other people's costumes more than I like wearing my own. -
Phantom credit card charge by Carnival
staceyglow replied to mhlcanada's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Have you ever been to Cozumel and noticed that many of the cabs have their seats covered with old Carnival towels?
