  2. Labor Day Weekend here at Jones Beach, Long Island NY.. always belonged to Jimmy. This year one of the best Tribute Groups was booked instead...Sadly or fittingly, it turned into a Special Tribute..sold out so we could not go!   5. I think that emoji means sarcasm?? We are blessed with a great dtr and son in law, and best all grandchildren we adore.! The work invested and love shared is returned ten fold! As to this thread topic , I agree X has exclusions to just about everything..We usually don't pay attention to marketing sales or deals. Often ends in disappointment of learning that it does not apply, or the sale ends up with same or higher price... Right now folks are getting good deals on excursions, dining and other reductions..but we just stuck with what we have...not worth the effort.
  6. Re Excursion Question: on day of the excursion all (or the rep for each sep group or couple) should go in together to where u check in and get stickers..let rep know u are a group The stickers have your excursion and bus #, usually. And stay together as you walk out..

  12. the excursion thing was a bummer. customer service on board is apparently at a new low..administered by puppets with no authority, flexiblity or common sense! Glad OP would not back down..but it leaves a bad taste
  13. I'd pay the deposit and save the fcc for the final payment and extras like dining if you can. good idea not to give up the fcc up front!

  15. I believe accredited sommeliers have to study and pass levels to receive their pins. It is interesting to engage them in conversation to find out their background, and to push wines from Long Island NY!
  16. It will be fun & interesting to read the review and enjoy the photos. Prices are beyond our budget and ships are too small.. But of course they will take you where a regular cruise ship can't ..a great adventure!

  20. i think.it's when they reach a point of VERY BUSY on the lines. It worked well for me..the call back was in minutes and I had a knowledgeable rep.. that was the first time it was offered to me
