if you don’t snorkel too often can you ask for “trial” contacts? My optometrist offered them free before I bought a prescription mask. I admit though I declined and sucked it up to buy a prescription mask. It made such a difference! We snorkelled with turtles and whale sharks and I could see!!! Lol. Before that I’d take photos when I saw movement-some actually turned out well but much better now that I can see.

What a great time you’ll have! We’ve shared a Neptune suite with 4 so you’ll be fine as long as you try to plan shower time, lol. Whoever is the quickest could get ready first and then head to the Neptune lounge to wait while having a snack or coffee. Unfortunately the weather in Vancouver is not great this week at all but hoping it might change. Be prepared for rain and cool weather. I hope you love the Koningsdam-I’ve been on it over 40 days in total and loved it-especially the Dutch Cafe. Have a wonderful time making memories together.

@Crazy For Cats really enjoying your posts and photos. We’ve done the New York to Quebec cruise several years ago and loved it. Now that our daughter & her family live in the outskirts of Montreal this one will be on my list in the future! Glad you finally had breakfast in the Pinnacle. It’s one of my favourite things to do when staying in a Neptune suite. Took years before Mr Bear finally felt comfortable eating there though at breakfast time. Of course I enjoy the mimosas, lol. I had never heard of this so looked it up and it has very good reviews. I am claustrophobic and would not do this even though it looks like fun. I can snorkel and years ago did a couple of dives but don’t think I’d even try this BOSS underwater adventure. I would be interested after you have done it if your wife actually was ok trying it.

I saw Air Canada & WestJet have cancelled tons of flights. We haven’t booked yet for our cruise and waiting to see what happens. Luckily it isn’t until December. Crazy times.

Vista suites count for double Mariner credits. I have no idea about the casino offers though.

Exactly, and it is very much appreciated that you shared this. Certainly an eye opener. I hope your family will be emotionally ok as your kids witnessed something very traumatic. And of course that your wife makes a good recovery.

Wow….it is unbelievable what you had to go through to get the care your wife needed. Certainly an eye opener for me. Very thankful for you sharing your experience and the way you handled everything. I am not sure how we would deal with this “cash” system. We travel with insurance but when things go sideways I’m not sure how it would go. Very scary. Thank you again for sharing and hoping for the best outcome.

Sorry for my ignorance but how do I tell what version I have on my iPhone?

We fly from YVR and always book to go through customs here. That way we can make sure we are early on our first flight and not worry about our connector flight and have time to relax and maybe have a bite to eat. Just my opinion on what we do.

I agree. We really enjoyed their music. Luckily we are booked on the Rotterdam later this year so can see them. Will make us be more careful on what ships we book as HAL entertainment lacks in my opinion.
