  1. Thanks for the replies. Obviously I was confusing two different things. So, at this point I see that the covid assistance policy seems to cover our cruises in Jan. 2023. We always purchase travel insurance.
  2. Only you can determine that. If the price difference between a balcony cabin and the Aqua cabin is something you can accept, then yes, it is. The big factor for us is that you have Blu as your assigned dining room. Smaller, quieter and usually quicker service than the MDR. I certainly don't care anything about a yoga mat in my cabin.
  3. Am I correct that this expires Nov. 1, please? After that if tests are still required to board, only your personal travel insurance would pay for covered illness?
  4. You can do the health check at check in. Don't have to do it in the app.
  5. I hope so. We just did our self, unmonitored test this morning for Sunday departure. I believe our 10 night on Equinox is the first over 9 night from a US port since these new protocols were introduced. We used the "free" government test, that we tax payers paid for. Am taking the tests as well as photos with us to board.
  6. I went to Chichin Itza many years ago and climbed that temple. Holy cow! Going down was a lot harder than climbing up. I would not do this tour as a cruise excursion. Way too many hours wasted traveling to the site. I suggest that if they want ruins on this cruise, select the Tulum tour. Still have to take that ferry, which is frequently rough, but they will have a much shorter bus ride and longer at the site. And Tulum is pretty impressive itself.
  7. No. Unvaxed can travel if they have a negative test 2 or 3 days before sailing. Which depends on the ports and embarkation countries.
  8. You can also use any OBC in the casino. Just ask the cashier. And you don't have to lose the promotional chips as someone posted. If you win, you keep it. No problem.
  9. Whoops. I forgot current cruise is only 9 nights. I am on 10 night next week so test is required.
  10. How did check in go with the nonmonitored tests?
  11. Is your Hawaii cruise more than 9 nights? The X web site says tests required for 10 day and longer cruises. We are going 10 back to back 9 nights next week. I would love if they discontinued testing for that second leg of the trip.
  12. NCteacher- you can also use your OBC in the casino. Just ask the cashier how to do it. It's different procedure for slots or tables. We use it for roulette every cruise. Lots of fun to gamble with their money!
  13. Yes, frozen drinks. And if you have the premium package, you do get better wines. You also must specify what liquor you want in a mixed drink in order get the premium liquor. I.E. Bloody Mary with Grey Goose. Otherwise, bartenders will make that mixed drink with well liquor. This is of course not so at the World Class or Martini bar as those drinks are priced for the premium package anyway/
  14. Yes to walk off. I think the discounts referred to are for certain loyalty levels. So as first timer, there probably is no discount for you. However,, look at "manage my reservation" on line as there may be a discount offer for your particular cruise.
  15. Yes. For table games, you go to the cashier and ask for an amount of obc and you will be given promotional chips. These will be changed to playing chips at the table. After a few plays, win or lose, you can cash out your chips at the table, then take those to the cashier for $. There were instructions at the cashiers widow on how to use OBC on slots on Equinox in July. We love playing on Celebrity's money!
  16. I always specify "no saltines" on my cheese plate from the butler and ask for other crackers instead. There is always a selection of good crackers on my plate.
  17. Yes, cancel for any reason is 90% FCC.
  18. Yes, I have done my own routine on Equinox, Silhoutte and Reflection, The gyms main weight and machine rooms have all been the same layout. Not a whole lot of room, but certainly can be done.
  19. You could probably take on some mixers, as soda and water are allowed, but nothing with hard alcohol.
  20. When you check in on line, there will be assigned check in times for you to choose. You need to adhere to your assigned time to avoid a long wait.
  21. Ok. We will be on a 10 night before our 9 night. So please when were the Chic Nights on your 10 night cruise?
  22. No need to pre-order veggies in Luminae. Just tell your waiter to bring extras of whatever veegoes they have that night. Usually there are green beans, spinach, asperagus, etc. That is what do do nearly every night.
