  1. Contact them ASAP. It took them almost 3 weeks to respond to my request.
  2. We watched it, too! The dinners and desserts looked amazing. The chef was so proud of the food that was made. Not sure about now, but I will find out in two weeks!
  3. They now have a message up that they are working on issues.
  4. Same shows on Equinox for last 6 cruises spanning a few years! We don’t even go anymore.
  5. We are on Equinox for a B2B in two weeks, that will be our 8th cruise on Celebrity. We have no more booked and am looking at MSC (yacht club), HA and others.
  6. We have been in SS and RS on Equinox in last few years and none have been redone. They redid Michaels to become Retreat and put chairs on top level and call it Retreat Deck. It is not accessible and you have to go up and down stairs to go to restrooms. No elevator will take you directly there.
  7. We had been watching the channel for a few hours and I was just going up to bed when I heard the next one was Celebrity Solstice so I am recording it. That’s my husbands favorite channel - he loves Air Disasters! 🤦‍♀️
  8. All I can say is the app is not accurate until you board and even then I don’t 100% trust it. If you want to see current menus you need to look at a current sailing on the app.
  9. Sounds wonderful! Dubai is on my bucket list! I have never been to Europe, we always do Caribbean cruises. I think I need to expand my horizons!
  10. Can’t wait to hear about your cruise! We are loyal to Celebrity and will be boarding Equinox in a few weeks. I am looking for another cruise line for a March cruise.
  11. If you have never had a good macaron then Celebrity’s will suffice. I had my first macaron there several years ago and could not believe it was gluten free! I came home, researched them and started making them. They are difficult to make that’s why they are expensive. Took me a few years to perfect them and now mine are in demand by friends and family. Sometimes they still don’t come out right and my husband gets the macawrongs!
  12. Suga egg whites and almond flour…Laduree is on my bucket list!
  13. Last cruise(10/22) they had pizza but it’s not very good, takes about 15 minutes for them to make. I actually love their gluten free pasta and the marinara and meatballs are gf! I have gotten a baked potato and loaded it or a salad. Last cruise they had premade sandwiches but none gf. And they go have Canyon Ranch bread and a dedicated toaster. Items in buffet are labeled if gluten free but still use common sense. They have a gluten free dessert section. The cakes are horrible - spongy with rubbery “frosting”. Some other desserts are good. I know in Luminae the burger and fries are not gluten free but I believe they are at Mast Grill. Aqua Spa Cafe which is not in the Spa has mostly free offerings. They have gf salads such as chicken, tuna and egg. Some other salads and stuff. They also have very good Apple Cinnamon gf cookies! And muffins for breakfast. cafe Al Bacio will have a few gf selections and usually muffins in morning and macaroons in afternoon. Last cruise I had to ask for them and they brought a plate to my room! I bring my own gf crackers and bagels on board. I will even bring a bagel to dining room for my smoked salmon!
  14. We will be on Equinoxxin a few weeks and will report back.
  15. I have had it happen to me. They gave me a new card onboard
  16. We have been loyal to Celebrity. We are looking at MSC for a cruise in YC. Only negative that worries me is that all gluten free food is from MDR, which is not all that good. Enjoy your cruise!
  17. I’m happy to answer any of your questions.
  18. I am gluten free and there is sorbet or ice cream! Lol…I was told the gelato is not gluten free so I don’t eat it! I will have the Creme brûlée a few times. They usually will try to get you something gf for dessert. They do have macarons in Luminae and gf desserts (cakes are terrible) in Oceanview, Cafe Al Bacio and cookies at Spa Cafe. I get sad when they bring interesting items to my husband for the amuse bouche and give me a blackberry….every night. 😢😢
  19. It will not show up in app until you are on board and then it’s under Account.
  20. Part of the resort is reserved for Virgin voyages only. I have read many reports that the beach chairs are on top of each other and limited umbrellas, loud music, mold in the pool and long waits to board the tram to get back to ship. We will be there mid-September and we canceled our excursion we had booked there. I also heard the public beach next to cruise port is across from a sewage plant and if the wind is blowing the wrong way it’s quite aromatic. All this is hearsay from others posts. I have no first hand knowledge..yet..
  21. I believe we are on same cruise. I do not think it’s accurate until we board. If I’m wrong I will treat you to lunch in Oceanview!
  22. So it seems that the room attendant has been “promoted” to part time Retreat Host Or the butler has been “demoted” to part time room attendant. In either case it’s more work for the now Room Attendant/Retreat Host. @DingoMom happy you are feeling better and hope you got to enjoy some of the cruise. Thank you for all your reports! We will follow up as we will be on Equinox 9/24. Safe travels home!
  23. My perfect sea day is to start out with coffee and breakfast (smoked salmon) delivered to the room. Then go on a walk, stop in casino for a few minutes, then Cafe Al Bacio for a tea or cappuccino and to read either there or outside. Then meet my husband at Sushi on 5 for lunch. After lunch go to solarium and hopefully find seats. Have a swim, read and relax. Then back to room to sit on balcony with a drink, get ready for dinner. Go eat dinner, then maybe casino, show, walk the stores, listen to music and then a nite cap of amaretto and bed!
