A taste of Vision of the Seas
rvlandandsea replied to Mittens101's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We had sailed out of Baltimore 19 years ago. Couldn’t remember embarcation but did remember the Maryland crab cakes we ate at our hotel. We drove down then in October 2004 and would do the same. Glad to hear even now it is an easy port to use and parking is more reasonable than New Jersey or Miami. We sailed on Grandeur last winter and found the crew so nice. -

Thinking about booking on Vision. Baltimore seems like an easy port to board. Following. -
Waikiki pre cruise: Outrigger Reef or Outrigger Waikiki?
rvlandandsea replied to cowpokes's topic in Hawaii
Did same repositioning cruise back in 2015 and stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki pre cruise. Loved the location. Walked everywhere. Convenient to many restaurants and bars with great beach views. It was for one night only as we had spent a week in Hawaii a few years before. -
Way back, Happy Hour was 4-6. Was not easy getting there early returning from ship excursions, readying for dinner at 6 or 7. Much better now.

Any chance this could become an Izumi in the near future? Would definitely go. -
How does MDR early and late seating work on Edge class?
rvlandandsea replied to 2chiefs's topic in Celebrity Cruises
On Apex in March we had booked 6 pm dining and always show up early to get a window table. We found out on the 1st night that seating starts at 5:15. We were told to show up at that time from that time on. I did find some nights the guests without reservations line was shorter. -
Summit beverages, water, iced tea, coffee

Can you get free regular iced tea and lemonade in the dining room. -
And here I also thought Hair was coming to RCCL. They would have been great in my opinion.

Just checked out the Symphony menu and I like the themes most nights like the Windjammer. Also there seems to be an Indian entrée every night which I love. You would hope however that the lobster at 16.99 would be larger and better than the one which used to be included.

Heads Up: the Beyond no longer offers fixed early or late dining
rvlandandsea replied to kwokpot's topic in Celebrity Cruises
My suggestion would be to reserve anytime dining at the same restaurant, at the same time every night. Then speak to the maître D and request the same wait staff. That maître D could also make your other arrangements. If anytime isn’t available on line, give Celebrity a call and explain your situation. I believe they have an accommodation representative. -
Were there facilities at that beach. Thanks.

If you want, you can now book every evening at various restaurants in the planner. We like to eat early so we’re all booked for our Apex in March.

The Panhandle would also be my suggestion with New Orleans as last destination to fly home from. Easy drive from Ft. Lauderdale via turnpike, to I-4with a few nights in Tampa, then up to Panhandle beaches, then I-10 to Louisiana. I think I got those correct.

My DH and I used to enjoy those lounges with cigars and aged Port wine. He now enjoys them in port in San Juan and Falmouth. Good cubans in Jamaica. In San Juan there is a nice cigar shop with great rum and cozy smoking area at the back.

They have great smoothies in the spa cafe.

Thanks for posting the text. Still checked the USA site as opposed to my Canadian site and still no change there. Wonder why, but I will take it. 😁

Also I’m on the Canadian site.

How long will Celebrity require Pre-Cruise Testing?

I’m on the Canadian site -
Mine says 8 nights or less. Maybe if you refresh or erase cookies. I double checked since our next cruise is 6 nights.
