  1. We had sailed out of Baltimore 19 years ago. Couldn’t remember embarcation but did remember the Maryland crab cakes we ate at our hotel. We drove down then in October 2004 and would do the same. Glad to hear even now it is an easy port to use and parking is more reasonable than New Jersey or Miami. We sailed on Grandeur last winter and found the crew so nice.
  2. Thinking about booking on Vision. Baltimore seems like an easy port to board. Following.
  3. Love your live review. Back in 2014, on the Solstice, New Zealand, cruise to Sydney, we did the ship excursion that overnighted in Queensland. It was one of the best. Actually, all our excursions were great discoveries. That cruise is in our top five. Enjoy!
  4. Did same repositioning cruise back in 2015 and stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki pre cruise. Loved the location. Walked everywhere. Convenient to many restaurants and bars with great beach views. It was for one night only as we had spent a week in Hawaii a few years before.
  5. Way back, Happy Hour was 4-6. Was not easy getting there early returning from ship excursions, readying for dinner at 6 or 7. Much better now.
  6. Any chance this could become an Izumi in the near future? Would definitely go.
  7. On Apex in March we had booked 6 pm dining and always show up early to get a window table. We found out on the 1st night that seating starts at 5:15. We were told to show up at that time from that time on. I did find some nights the guests without reservations line was shorter.
  8. You could sail on Oasis of the seas 7 nights from Port Liberty which goes to Florida and the Bahamas.
  9. Can you get free regular iced tea and lemonade in the dining room.
  10. And here I also thought Hair was coming to RCCL. They would have been great in my opinion.
  11. Just checked out the Symphony menu and I like the themes most nights like the Windjammer. Also there seems to be an Indian entrée every night which I love. You would hope however that the lobster at 16.99 would be larger and better than the one which used to be included.
  12. Boarding Infinity Saturday. We love this ship. Did South America and Alaska aboard. Got lucky with our bid and got a Family aft cabin.
  13. My suggestion would be to reserve anytime dining at the same restaurant, at the same time every night. Then speak to the maître D and request the same wait staff. That maître D could also make your other arrangements. If anytime isn’t available on line, give Celebrity a call and explain your situation. I believe they have an accommodation representative.
  14. Were there facilities at that beach. Thanks.
  15. While we’re discussing zero proof, does anyone know if Celebrity has the Heineken 0.0. I’ve seen it on Royal Caribbean. Thanks.
  16. If you want, you can now book every evening at various restaurants in the planner. We like to eat early so we’re all booked for our Apex in March.
  17. The Panhandle would also be my suggestion with New Orleans as last destination to fly home from. Easy drive from Ft. Lauderdale via turnpike, to I-4with a few nights in Tampa, then up to Panhandle beaches, then I-10 to Louisiana. I think I got those correct.
  18. We loved Charleston on a sailing from Port Liberty. We visited the plantation setting for the film Notebook. Also, the dolphins were being playful near the dock just before we left. Congrats on your top cruiser award.
  19. My DH and I used to enjoy those lounges with cigars and aged Port wine. He now enjoys them in port in San Juan and Falmouth. Good cubans in Jamaica. In San Juan there is a nice cigar shop with great rum and cozy smoking area at the back.
  20. They have great smoothies in the spa cafe.
  21. Thanks for posting the text. Still checked the USA site as opposed to my Canadian site and still no change there. Wonder why, but I will take it. 😁
  22. Mine says 8 nights or less. Maybe if you refresh or erase cookies. I double checked since our next cruise is 6 nights.
