They have time to get a passport if they apply right away. I will take an average of 6-8 weeks to get it back. Passport BOOKS are the universal document to use.

Neighbors of ours were told all they needed was a passport card and their birth certificates to go to Panama half cruise. They are elderly and it was their first cruise. They left for the cruise on a flight at 5:30 am and returned from FLL on the 9 pm flight. The only sure thing is a passport book.

Get a passport to be sure rather than sorry. Want to know what a last minute flight will cost for you and your companions? Just take a birth certificate, go to check in and find out you were wrong. Do not, repeat, do not get just the passport card as it is not accepted many places. The only true document to leave and enter the country is the passport book.

I do not feel it is up to me to pay additional fees, other than those contracted for, to enhance a salary that is paid for by the employee. I know this will grate on some people's ideas but that is not my problem. I have ben to many countries in this world and have seen their living standards. If the cruise line can not pay an acceptable salary then they have a problem not me. I will not even think about tipping crew members just for doing their jobs.

For an International flight you are requested to be there 2.5 hours before the flight. Anyone who says they can make a 9:30 flight is wrong. Been thru that airport several times both after cruises and after visiting family.

Also are you hoping to ride the train or will you settle for a bus. Pre Covid there were only two actual trains, one in morning the other in the afternoon. The rest were all buses. Not sure what the mode is now.

You keep saying Princess cancelled your cruise. Yes they did after you cancelled by failing to make the final payment. Sorry but itwas your responsibility to make that payment not theirs.

Neighbors had the same problem with wrong information after they were denied boarding. Yes some know of the information but many do not and rely on other forms of info to plan for their cruise. The passport card is a rip off and should be gotten rid of. It causes to many problems.

10 days - 5 days to and then 5 days back. We did a 12 day 4 island tour for about the same price and got to see much more of Hawaii.

Why double tip? You will be paying tips each day for this service and want to pay even more. Only Americans would do think this is a good thing.
