Dream detailed trip report w/ Menus, Fun Times
scoobysnacks70 replied to luckybecky's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I didn't actually get in one but our balcony overlooked one of the jacuzzies and it was bubbling all the time even with no one in it. Thank you for the review! We were on her last June and will be back in July for a big family cruise. Yes the lines for Guys Burgers and the Mongolian Wok were always really long. Guys at least moved quickly. The Wok would take forever! I think they need to move it out of the buffet area and give it it's own spot. My husband loved it but hated the wait. -

Maybe you just found one not working? They were bubbling like crazy last year... -
Thinking of trying a Carnival cruise again.....

I haven't ever used the breakfast room service but it seems like doing it the night before would streamline the delivery because then they could plan each deck...You would still have the random orders called in that morning but then you could just add them to carts as they came in. -
Linking Carnival cabins as cruise companions
scoobysnacks70 replied to cruisincutie81's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
It worked for all of us except 1 cabin for a group of 5 cabins--I had to send the request/email multiple times for that one. -
Highest OBC you've received?
scoobysnacks70 replied to Tom-n-Cheryl's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
So will that roll over to another cruise? Or do you have to spend it all on this cruise?? Or does it go towards paying for this cruise? I would think that would be very hard to do π² I have a long way to go to worry about this problem LOL -
Security needs to monitor the foul language

I find that hard to believe when they are usually using the same words over and over again--My ex-husband could say a whole sentence using just the F-word! LOL -

If you think the speech on the ship is vulgar you should walk down a middle school or high school hallway during passing periods when parents aren't around and only the teachers are. Better yet ride a school bus! . As for the adults--people say what they what when they want and don't care who hears. If you don't want to say something yourself then why should anyone else? Get some headphones and listen to what you want. -

Just for fun let us know if you do break even π€£ -
I would think that it is fine to be a no show but rude not to tell them. That table could be converted to YTD. If it's assigned to you then its held for you. You could show up on the last night and they would have that table waiting for you...

It's possible that room was empty for the previous trip

I think it is more so this than anything. Just in this thread you have had several people say they could care less about any of it but the early embarking/disembarking. If they just put it in your room and you don't want it then it's wasted. If you really want it then you can get it yourself. I do think they need to advertise better about where everything is. Maybe now that the printed fun times is coming back then they can put it there...

Never mind! Someone posted pics! That bed is huge π

Just from seeing the couches I would say it would be an extra wide twin to possibly a small full size...I know you are wanting specifics but you don't seem to be getting much feedback.

Carnival Pixels Packages (pictures)
scoobysnacks70 replied to Misty9388's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Yes you can purchase onboard. You save a little bit by buying them ahead of time. I do it just so that they can be paid for and done and it limits how many I buy lol. I am doing it this next cruise because family (daughters and spouses) will be with us and I will be buying pics of them. -
Watch out...the Karen's will attack you! LOL

He was great on the Dream last year--going to miss him! -
I would say it is the cost. They would have to put a coffee maker in every room. And then coffee in every room (all the different blends plus tea and decaffeinated) and replace what is used everyday. Then people would pack it in their bags so then they would have to replace twice as much...it's the same reason they don't supply the free toiletries anymore. I don't drink coffee at all and don't want to have to pay for yours! π

We have a large group and it worked for everyone except one couple. I had to send the invite several times before they finally got it. This was over a period of weeks.
