  1. We just went with Global Entry, which includes TSA Pre-check. It doesn't cost much more than just pre-check. We had planned more out of the country travel, but that hasn't quite worked out yet. ☺️
  2. We had the UDP on Navigator, and Johnny Rocket's Express was included.
  3. Before Lyft and Uber were allowed, we used Galveston Limo both ways. It worked out very well. We stayed on the seawall at the Hilton, so we could walk to the grocery store and several restaurants.
  4. Thank you @pstone1 I love wildlife photos. It looks so interesting to see penguins in the desert. We are so conditioned to think of them in the snow. ☺️
  5. It used to be available in the MDR after dinner. But I don't know if they offer sorbet anymore. It would not surprise me if Royal Caribbean offers ice cream now, instead.
  6. Link to companies and info: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles/how-to-rent-a-scooter-or-wheelchair-for-your-cruise
  7. Speed Queen washers are highly recommended work horse washers without much in the way of electronics. They apparently last forever. I think we may replace ours with a Speed Queen, the next time we are in the market.
  8. Try removing your C&A number on the website in your profile, and then typing it back in. That seems to work sometimes.
  9. That is kind of a lot of people. Happy New Year. Thanks for the photo. ☺️(they look like moss. <jk>) Because there are so many people with the green lighting. That is why Bill wanted to see Kenny Chesney at a smaller venue in Lake Tahoe. I can definitely see why now. I am way over arena shows. Too many people. πŸ™„
  10. That stinks. We had that problem on a SW flight from New Orleans. We went to lost luggage at OAK, before we left the airport, and they brought them the next day to our home. That is surprising that they lost it on a direct flight, though. πŸ™„ I keep thinking more about air tags. I hope they are recovered and returned soon.
  11. It is a balcony discount. They are few and far between anymore, because if the "Flash Sales" and other RC discounts are more, it does not show up. You can compare by putting in your C&A number (which will give you the larger discount) and not putting it in. I don't have the C&A discount list handy.
  12. It's only 6 PM. We are having Dungeness Crab! Previously frozen, but they look better than the so-called "Fresh" ones that we bought on Thursday. ☺️
  13. It is a very different world now, Len. And way too crowded for us. We will watch on TV. Jeremy Renner is supposed to make an appearance with Anderson Cooper. He has made an amazing recovery in just a year from his horrific snowplow accident. Our neighbors went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade a few years ago. Same stringent security measures. They watched for a while, and then went back to their hotel to watch it from the hotel and on TV. (With a bathroom. And heat. And adult beverages.) ☺️ Happy New Year to everyone!πŸŽ†
  14. Happy birthday to Pam and great cruise to you both! Happy New Year! ~Patti
  15. A couple of things about my mom's rotator cuff surgery. Unique, to only my mom. Apparently, she had bone spurs somewhere that severed both of them. She realized that she could no longer lift her arms up high. She told me that her whole side had turned purple. (Probably from blood draining down) πŸ™„ My reaction was OMG. She said it didn't hurt. And didn't go to the doctor. She had shoulder surgery on one shoulder and they removed the bone spur and tried to re-attach it. It didn't really work. And then when she moved up to the mountains, she found a new doctor who wanted to try replacing it with pig cartilage πŸ™„ After I don't know how many hours, he came out and said, "Your mom said you are a biologist, and I wanted to show you photos of the surgery!" He was all very excited. I said, "Okay. Fascinating." It didn't work either. About 2 days later she went into afib, and fainted. (Ambulance) And she spent a few more days in the hospital. (In her 80's). The shelf grabber was a helpful thing. I just thought the whole thing was weird. Best wishes for a wonderful recovery for Linda. @Sea Dog And I am glad that Mike is doing so well after his. @ReneeFLL
  16. Ghosts US is really funny, and we enjoy it. We used to love Being Human, British version. The US Version was a poor imitation. In this case, we enjoy (US) Ghosts. Young couple buys mansion to turn it into an Airbnb. Ghosts make up most of the cast. She can see them, but he can't. Lighthearted comedy. Even at $300/month, we don't watch much TV but enjoy it. ☺️
  17. Beautiful photos. Re: Batu caves. I would just be taking photos from the bottom. πŸ˜„
  18. Maybe put it on your chair or couch just like that and s/he will finish it for you tomorrow. Maybe they were called away or something. 😊
  19. They always do that now. Additional cost in Specialty dining on Valentines Day, Christmas Eve., New Years, probably others. (packages are invalid) πŸ™„ Sorry, I don't know what the MDR menu will be.
  20. What's it called? I think interporting or something like that. The people that board in Rome, will do a 7 night round trip to/from Rome. Around day 5, at the port stop, the Barcelona cruisers will come onboard. They will be doing a 7 night round trip to/from Barcelona. So it will be Day 5 for the Rome passengers and Day 1 for the Barcelona passengers who will have to do muster drill and are just beginning their cruise. And then when Rome is again a port stop, the Rome passengers will disembark and new ones will board. ☺️ I think it mostly depends on which city you would like to visit pre-cruise.
