I am very excited to be following along! What an awesome trip this is going to be! Will try to catch some of the Stars/VGK game this afternoon since it’s raining here in lovely Myrtle Beach. My Canes lost in OT AGAIN to the Panthers last night so I’m still in mourning from that.😢 Kim

On the Sunshine in January they wouldn’t let me get a drink until I went to muster. But they did let my husband get one. Have no clue why but it wasn’t fair!🤣🤣 Kim

I was very happy when the Devils beat the Rangers as well! Waiting for the Florida/Toronto game tonight! Pretty positive we will be playing Panthers next. My husband’s hip flares up as well from time to time. He medicates it same as you.🤣 Enjoying the review (as always).

They still have them at my Kroger (Myrtle Beach). Bought one a couple weeks ago during the 4x gas points. Kim

Did the 4 night cruise in January 2023 and doing the same cruise again in November. We had spa balcony cabin and it was great. Spend a lot of time on the balcony. The last night it rained/stormed all night and there was a very loud banging noise outside so I had basically no sleep. I saw the woman in the cabin next door as we were debarking and she look as sleep deprived as me. Never ate the buffet so can’t comment on that. JiJi’s and Cucino were great. Bonsai sushi was great. Only ate in MDR one night and it was good. The steakhouse was excellent as always. Seaday brunch was just okay. I had the Emerils shrimp and grits and it was good. Husband’s steak was a bloody mess on his plate served with only cold crinkle cut fries. Can’t believe he ate that. The flaming tomato soup was very good - glad they brought that back! The weather wasn’t the greatest so we spend a lot of time playing trivia and at the Alchemy bar which was excellent as always. Only walked through Serenity a few times because of the weather. But have sailed on Sunshine in the past and I agree it has the best Serenity. Did not attend any comedy shows this time but I also agree the comedy club is very small and you have to be there very early. We did attend the Love and Marriage shows which was very funny. Embarking and debarking were both painless although it was pouring rain during debarking. Any other questions you have just ask! Kim

I am not going to rent a cabana at that price because I don’t feel it is worth $700. I don’t really care what anyone else does - that’s their business. And I don’t care what brand purse/bag they carry either. I’m a simple Dooney & Bourke girl myself.😀 Kim

I agree with you. My cruise isn’t until November but still shows as 10+ cabanas available. I know in the past these would sell out as soon as they were available to reserve. Will be interesting to see what happens. Kim

I added a cabana to the cart for our November, 2023 cruise and it was $499.99. I was going back and forth about paying that much (last one we rented was $249 or something like that). Decided I would pay the $500 since son is cruising with us and he has never been to HMC. Went in to pay a few days ago and it had increased to $699.99. No way am I paying that. It’s not worth it. Promptly removed from cart. 😡😡 Kim

We were on that cruise as well! We then booked the Mardi Gras and of course that didn’t happen and received the $600. Finally got around to using the FCC and the $600 in January with no problem. On the Sunshine again. Will finally be sailing on the Mardi Gras January 2024. Kim
