  1. Yes, they do. Go up to the fitness center the first day and they will have the class schedule.
  2. Same for us. Just had a Concierge on Navigator and it made not one iota of difference to us since all Navigator lower level suites are the same. Had a different color palate (gold) for the decor. My friend remembered that our previous cruise on Navigator had a blue color palate and happened to mention it when our steward was in the room, so he told us the difference. Ha, ha. We did take the hotel credit and booked our own hotel.
  3. Wendy, I thought that was the problem I was having the first night on Splendor in April. Turned out my seasickness was do to the constant vibration in that particular suite. They were able to move us to an identical suite on a different floor and then no more seasickness. So it ends up that I'm ok in either configuration. Hope you are too! Martha
  4. Yes! I would prop the door open just a little bit with a sock!
  5. You actually need to go onto YouTube to subscribe. Open YouTube, then search "Darren and Johnetta" and click on the episode. At the bottom there will be a "Subscribe" option. Once you subscribe, you should get a notification when a new episode is added.
  6. Thanks to @mrlevin and @Catpow for naming some of my favorite staff on Navigator (Copenhagen to Amsterdam). Still missing my morning coffee with Alvi and staff in CC!

  8. @mrlevin sending you a picture via email I took of you and Mrs. Levin during Beatles Night on the Nav. Hope the rest of your cruise was wonderful. Was sad this morning when I realized you all were disembarking today.
  9. @islandchick I was on the Splendor TA with you and agree it was wonderful! Just came back from the 3 week Norway / Scotland cruise with @Gilly on Navigator, and it was wonderful too! My friend Emily just got off her Baltic / Norway cruise on Splendor, and she had nothing but wonderful things to say again. My next Regent cruise will be on Grandeur through Panama Canal in December 2023. Then I have one booked for May 2024, two weeks in Alaska on the Explorer, and one booked August 2024 to Iceland & Greenland on Navigator. So, upshot I I think it is worth it, just wish I could go more often!
  10. Happened to me too when I tried to add people to my Prime 7 reservation on Navigator last month. I ended up calling, and Regent did it for me.
  11. Glad she didn't get sick until she got home. Hope she has a very mild case. I got it, but my cruise roommate didn't even though we traveled together the whole time.... who knows?
  12. +2! Exact same experience, and had a roller bag to deal with on all those stairs.
  13. MJ - looks like crab lobster and shrimp. Didn't take a picture of the hot one.
  14. Have you tried the Seafood Tower either "on ice" or the cooked version in Prime 7? I had never seen it until my recent cruise on Navigator and the ladies we were having dinner ordered them.
  15. Second vote for Prime 7. Celebrated my friend's bd on Splendor in April. Celebrated my birthday in Compass Rose in August with a table for 8. So much fun.
  16. Just there for 3 days with Regent in August. Day 1: "Brave Heart and Stirling Castle" tour. Interactive battlefield was great, very well done immersive tour. Stirling Castle was good, but didn't enjoy it as much as Cowder (see Invergordan thread) or Edinburgh Castle. Day 2: Edinburgh Castle Tour - Guides can only stop in specific areas outside (3) to give information to their groups. All of the interior touring can be done on your own without an audio guide, though they are available. You are correct, actual time at the castle is short. We were able to go into all the areas (apartments, war memorial, great hall, church, kitchen) recommended by our guide in that amount of time. Only had time in the garden while guide was giving us our intro, though you get great views of it from above on various ramparts. Don't think a small group tour would be an advantage in this case. You will be given an option to stay in the city after the castle and take the Regent shuttle back. This would give you a chance to walk down the Royal Mile. Be aware that all walking is cobblestones and rather steep. Day 3 (bonus day): We were docked in Leith which is about a 30 minute bus ride from old town Edinburgh. We were scheduled for 2 days, but due to weather conditions, couldn't get out of the narrow lock there on the second day, so had an extra day and missed our next port (New Castle). Since we were there on the big Festival / Fringe Festival / Tattoo weekend and the city was packed, we opted to do the Royal Britannia Yacht tour on our 3rd day which is in Leith and a short walk from where we were docked. Self guided tour well worth the entrance fee. No tender in Leith.
  17. Really enjoyed "Cowder Castle and Culloden Battlefield" last month.
  18. For some reason, Regent decided to only carry USD on this Grand Voyage. We thought it was strange last segment too, since we needed DKK, NKK, Pounds, and Euros. On April TA they had euros available (at a terrible exchange rate, but at least you could get them).
  19. Just returned from 3 days in Amsterdam. Very little masking going on, never asked for proof of vaccination. We masked in venues that were tightly enclosed (Ann Frank House).
  20. Used it several times in April. It is on the starboard side across from suite 773.
  21. We took the TA Miami to Barcelona thinking it would be a gentler way to deal with the time change than flying. Let's just say that Coffee Connection was more popular than usual with both Passengers and Crew in the mornings, especially by about the 4th time change! And yes, there are 7 I believe over the 2 week sailing. Now not sure which is better! Get it over with (by flying) or deal with it on 7 days. Do a westbound if you have the choice!
  22. So not only in CR, which is what I was worrying about. Sorry it is anywhere though!
  23. I just want to give a shout out to my two favorite Regent breakfast treats: fresh mini chocolate croissants (preferably in CR) pecan sticky buns in La Verandah I discovered that CR seems to have the freshest croissants the last few days of our Navigator cruise, but the ones in Coffee Connection are usually fine to go with my daily iced latte.
  24. Why not go to CR or SM and request a shared table? I've met wonderful people that way!
