The Club 21 algorithm is a mystery to all of us. Some people get great offers after just one cruise, some sail multiple times and never get offers. Logically it would seem you should play some on a casino offer cruise so the offers keep coming. Just think of it as a roll of the dice.

I was a busy worker bee today with the new offers. I switched my 11/05 Spanish Farwell to the 11/05 Passage to America (better deal). Booked a new Mexico Rivera cruise on the K-dam in December (the wife coming with on that one) So my next 3 HAL cruises are all $200 Casino offers and will but me on 3 different continents! After going on many Beach Break Shore Ex's in Mexico and the Caribbean I've decided staying onboard and using the sea view pool, and the Lido or Dive in for food is a better option.

I thought I heard recently one brand in the Big 3 was going to get rid of single supplements completely, I hope that's true and others start to follow suit. You don't need a Neptune Suite at half price when sailing solo, but it would be nice to get a a simple Verandah at an affordable price. I've noticed that when sailing and paying for the single supplement I get 2 Mariner drink coupons in my room instead of just 1 when sailing on a Casino offer no single supplement charge.

OK I booked the Spanish Farewell on 11/05. I hope they don't send a free offer for this cruise before I sail. I got a real good airfare from flight Ease. OW from SFO to BCN for only $653 for Air Canada Premium Economy. -Paul

I usually book through my PCC who is on a well deserved Vacay right now so I'm dealing with others in the department. You can book online, the fare may show as "Private Sale" price and you will see the final price reduction after you enter all the info. Right now I've got a coutesy hold on a obstructed OV for $1224 (solo traveler so they are charging the supplement) List price would be $2259.

Cruising like all the other travel industries will not "recover" to before pandemic performance. For one thing the Pandemic is still ongoing and expected to last another 2 years. Secondly, the industry was bloated and over-reaching for customers and was growing unsustainably. Some lines have adjusted and will survive, some others may not. Thirdly, the labor force for cruising is made up of employees from the developing world who may not want to return to that type of work. They are away from home for 10 months at a time when the world is awash in multiple crisis's.

Yea I got the reminder to save "30% off on over 600 sailings" but no free play or drinks in the casino. It expires on 07/15. So hopefully next week something new will happened. Otherwise I might have to take a Princess offer in the Fall.

I get offers from Casinos in Reno and Vegas to come visit on a certain date for a free cruise certificate on NCL or RCI, but never HAL.

You would get the double suite bonus for the Mariner loyalty system. But if you are just starting out with HAL that might not mater to much to you.

You can have free play either as chips or loaded onto your card for machine play. You don't have to play it all at once and the table limits are still $5. I don't play blackjack so I can't verify about the specific game you've asked about.

Booked a trip to Vegas in August to hold me over until the next HAL offers arrive.

PCC says a new batch of Casino offers will be released on July 12. I guess there is a slot tourney on the Rotterdam on the 11-30-22 sailing but I didn't get an invite for it. -Paul

No you can't use OBC for Casino spending, If you have a gift card you can add it to your account at the front desk and then that money can be used for casino gaming. You can use OBC for tips, excisions, specialty dining, drinks....but not for Casino gambling -Paul

All the June 30 offers are gone. ☹️ Hopefully new ones next week. My wife has given conditional approval for me to take one. -Paul
