Same!! We are on the 8th floor but way at the back. Good Lord…I will lose my mind if there are bugs in my cabin. I’m not even telling my husband about this review. Hoping we both have a bug free 8 days. Oh heck.

Looks like a great start to your trip! I love your style. I also marvel at all of God’s creation and would rather hang out with my husband than anyone else in the world.

If you are going to Mexico, I’m almost certain you can’t bring any food off the ship. If you can, it definitely has to be sealed and no produce at all. So for that port, leave the dried fruit at home. As you enter the port area they have food alert dogs and pull you to the side if the dogs alert n your bag.

Mega thanks for keeping me entertained while I waited until my own cruise on Saturday. We leave town on Th night to spend the night near the airport and fly out Friday morning. Can’t wait!

I take the pictures etc but then it gets awhile later and I figure it’s too long past. I’ll try really hard on our B2B starting next week. I don’t get the internet packages though so it will have to be when I come home.

So how is it going fitting everyone in the one room? Would you do it again? I’m just curious. My kids (I have 3 also.) are all grown but we never did all in one cabin. We always got adjoining. Pretty sure my husband would have voluntarily jumped over board if we’d all been in one room for the week. Of course, my kids never liked the kids club all that much so it was a lot of family togetherness. 😂

My son and I are going on Paradise in Feb so I’ll be able to meet Aris. The big guy is turning 21 so he and momma are going cruising!

What I do with those kinds of sandwiches is I take the top piece of bread off and put the middles with the filling together. Less bread, more protein. I agree about PR being the hottest place on earth. Although I have never been to Belize. 😆

We had a comedian on the Breeze in March and I wish I could remember his name. So that I would know to never go see him again. He insulted and not in a funny way (at all!) several races as well as sexual orientation and certain religions. More than half the audience walked out. I heard a lot of people talking about complaining to guest services. He was truly that awful.

Geez you freaked me out. We leave in 12 days. I’m out of the Binax now tests and we are going on an 8 day cruise. Testing requirements are for 16 days and longer. 😎

I am loving this review. Sunshine is on the list of options for the cruise I am taking my youngest on for his 21st birthday. (I’m a thankful mom that my 21 yo boy actually wants to hang out with mom.) Your comment about W not knowing where you are going cracked me up. My husband and I are going on a B2B starting the 22nd f this month. Last night he asked me for AT LEAST the third time what time our flight was leaving. I told him to stop asking me and just do what I tell him to do when I tell him to do it.

I agree. Everyone of course has their own opinions and approaches to tipping but I think it’s a disservice to make new cruisers think they won’t get good service unless they tip above and beyond. The crew are all professionals who take pride in their jobs and do them well.

I totally get what you’re saying. I won’t go on a cruise that stops in Jamaica. Been there twice. Both times people were pushy and rude, in your face with their hands out for a tip for any reason they could think of. Poor area, yeah,I get it. But the Dominican Republic has possibly more poverty yet the people are warm and friendly. This is MY experience and therefore, I don’t choose to spend MY money there . Other people love Jamaica. Yippee skippy for them! Have at it! OP, as for Mexico, I would suggest just staying on the ship if it makes any of you uncomfortable. Perhaps your wife would be more relaxed if you only do ship sponsored excursions. (I used to not like Ensenada at all but after doing the winery tour one trip, now I get off the ship there and leave the city.) Only you can decide what’s best for your family. Have fun whatever you decide.

Well clearly, you need to book another cruise, stat!! Going to be on Spirit for a total of two weeks in a few weeks and I will be keeping an eye out for brunch. Jam, have there been any art classes offered? Also, I notice that you have frequently gotten the low or no sugar added desserts. Can you tell if they have artificial sweetener or are they more naturally flavored from like the fruit etc in them?
