  1. I noticed every cruise on the Sun that I looked at there were no upgrade mini-suites (Reserve or cabana) I can't believe they all sold out in one day. Hoping at noon (8am PST) that things will load correctly.
  2. Someone had posted the itineraries for the Sun in Europe with the various price levels -has anyone compared that with what they are showing now.
  3. I am anxious also but not Elite- I thought I had read that Elite was the 12th and others the 13th. Guess I have to wait another 25 1/2 hours 🙂
  4. Do you know if the European itineraries for 2024 are coming out today? I thought I had read that they were supposed to come out 12/13
  5. We are on the Apex in May (paid going rate) We are on the Ascent in April 24 in an IV (not sure how we will like that)but we got a fabulous price when the cruises first appeared. Check often - I believe the best price is just as they come out. Still looking to try Beyond but haven't found a good deal yet since I waited. Hopefully you'll find a good deal soon.
  6. Absolutely no comparison in the two ships IMO -we have sailed both this year. 1) the food, had to send back our entrees one night and should have sent back others on the Sky. Also, having the choice of the 4 dining rooms is wonderful on the Edge. 2) the entertainment - although the entertainment was better on the Sky than the other Princess ships this year it still doesn't compare to the Edge. 3) No place like Eden on any Princess ship. You get the idea - apples and oranges. We also found that on the Sky Princess has added more cabins and taken away public space. We sailed on a full ship 2 weeks ago and it was extremely crowded, not one seat of any kind or anywhere on deck at 10 am. We won't sail on the Sky again unless it is an itinerary not offered on another ship.
  7. We have 3 cruises booked. I must have gotten really good fares since they are all significantly more. No additional OBC here - oh well
  8. The OP doesn't say which ship they were on but we were on the Sky 11/26 cruise. The amount of people on scooters and with walkers was crazy. There honestly was a parking lot at the entrance of the dining room with them. So many I think it would have been an absolute disaster if there was any kind of emergency. Anywhere you were there was one within a couple of feet. We had several elevator incidents while on the ship. They have the same rights, not enhanced rights. Unbelievable what happened to the OP
  9. We booked Club Class on two cruises this year, one on Regal and one on Grand. We were traveling with others both times. On the Regal we had 4 couples and they basically reserved a table for us which was nice. On the Grand travelled with one other couple and had to wait 3 times to be seated. The maitre 'd did come to get us when the table was ready but still had to wait. The other advantage is one extra entree each evening which we did order on several occasions. The 1/2 bottles of wine they put in the room were not good IMO. The priority embarkation was nice but if you are platinum or above you get this anyways. IMO if we are traveling with others we would book it, otherwise you can make reservations which we did in November and get seated just as quick. Hope this helps with your decision.
  10. So did ours - I was pleasantly surprised as we have 3 cruises booked and rebooked the excursions on two of them. Saved alot of $$ definitely a real sale for once!
  11. That is strange, the sale is supposed to be on until the 16th. Checked a couple of ours and they are still at the lower price.
  12. Honestly, we have boarded a little before 11 and not been able to get one.
  13. One curious question on the Equinox, which terminal does it depart from & arrive at. Getting nervous about the parking situation as I've read some stories. Is there a way to find out ahead of time?
  14. So glad to hear that service is good - we are sailing on the Equinox January 12th and are bringing along 2 couples who haven't been on X as of yet. We just got off Sky Princess on Saturday and off and on in the dining room the service was slow. They are understaffed for a full ship. Really looking for to the Equinox for the ABCs!!
  15. On the Sky they served either the breaded deep fired or the garlic. The food on the Sky in Bistro was fabulous but hated the open concept - all the noise from the Piazza didn't not make it an upscale experience
  16. It depends on what you drink -but bottles are pretty close to double the price we pay at a discount liquor store. For instance, Belle Glos Las Alturas runs about $45 a bottle at Total Wine and on the shipit is $78 a bottle. For us I don't want to drag a bottle of wine around in my backpack until my room is ready. Plus they sell it by the glass and we have the Plus Package so we pay about $6 plus tip for a glass here and there. Here is a link to the new bar menus https://profcruise.com/the-new-princess-beverage-packages-with-updated-bar-menus/
  17. As long as the fare is the same they should give it to you. Many times when additional OBC is offered there is a corresponding increase in the fare.
  18. Just curious which cabin includes unlimited specialty dining.
  19. I will be interested to see what you think of Deal or No Deal. We played it on Celebrity and we thought it was not a good value. Not sure if Princess is the same.
  20. The last cruise we booked on the Ascent the 1B veranda was more money than the 1A - no idea why and the rep I booked with didn't know either. Our cruise in January it saved us about $100 pp not much but still something 🙂
  21. I still wouldn't remove the gratuities to us it is a cost of the cruise. As someone mentioned earlier, many of the advocates of removing them state how they cruise in suites and what services are due to them which amazes me. But we see it daily in this "me, me, me" world. We also tip the room steward and others that give great service. I do wish Princess and all of the lines would just include this in the fare.
  22. Wow, just wow - went back and looked at posts - and it really tells a whole lot!! As they say I judge people not by what they have but how they treat all people.
  23. I have a very small crossbody that my iphone, a pair of glasses, lip gloss and a few other items fit in. It is just the right size that I really don't leave it anywhere since it is easy enough to take with me. The last few cruises we have done with a group of people and it was nice to be able to see if the others were back on ship or out and about. We also ordered snacks to our location - some not available at the buffet. I also use my phone as my camera.
  24. What category of cabin were you in?
