  1. Pre Covid some lines permitted visits. I first saw Crystal Symphony when they were in port with Crystal Serenity. Celebrity at one time permitted visits, but you were required to file a request at the Miami HQ and they said “no” more than “yes”.
  2. Makes more sense to me to have separate roll calls since they are two different cruises.
  3. I guess the “overcrowded” reason that they eliminated Zeniths no longer applies. Or is it adding to the bottom line?
  4. They had the Elite Breakfast on the Century.
  5. Don’t try to do it all. There are lots activities on a TA to choose and some of them might be at the same time. As others have said do things that interesting to you. I enjoy the speakers, so that’s a priority for me. I have done more than 20 TA’s and they are wonderful.
  6. They do it because enough are willing to pay. Travel is hot now and all vendors have added debt which they must pay off as soon as possible, They will continue to add to prices so long as there is no significant resistance that negatively affects profits. Market demands dictate prices!
  7. My experience is that they will add tours that have been sold out if they can. It must be financially beneficial to them.
  8. You can also send a photo of your Zenith card or a photo of your Zenith party to Josse.
  9. Many top tier Blue Chip members are Zeniths. In fact that’s the quickest way to get to Zenith. Most have their suites at no charge. However, they represent considerable revenue since the odds are with the house.
  10. Will be on the same cruise. First on Viking , but more than 20 crossings. Love the sea days!
  11. Thanks for the information.
  12. I don’t see posts on this ship. Anyone know the current status of the build?
  13. Why not show her face? She didn’t care about the rules. She also didn’t show you respect.
  14. I don’t believe that I will ever keep a reservation with any cruise line based on my experience in the Crystal bankruptcy. I had a reservation with Crystal using one of their agents. Their offices were closed and all agents lost their jobs leaving me on my own. A private TA could have been an asset.
  15. I just want to thank all who report illegal smoking. I obtain the cards from key officers like HD, GRM and Staff Captain and hold them if I encounter a problem if I can’t resolve it at a lower level.
  16. I believe that it’s only a matter of time until RCL suspends stockholder credit. That would add to the bottom line.
  17. RCL stock hit a new 52 week low @ $32.26. Almost everything was down.
  18. I’ve been in Blu for more than 50 cruises and only needed a buzzer once. Seating tends to work out.
  19. Most passengers arrive after noon. They need to unpack and go to a Muster Drill Most have drink packages. Lots of things for passengers and crew to do.There are work hour limits for the crew. A “happy hour “ is not an efficient use of time.
  20. Agree! Many people only see the discount, they don’t do research.
  21. The Suites sell very quickly so Celebrity is only reflecting the demand. I wouldn’t be surprised if the prices would continue to go up as long as the demand is strong. I wouldn’t book at these prices since I can book a more luxury lines at the same price, but they don’t need me to book. They only need enough to sell out the suites and they don’t have a problem filling them.
  22. The key issue to me is the devaluation of the loyalty program. At one time the loyalty program was the primary focus. It should concern most Captain’s Club members that loyalty is on a slippery slope and that over time more benefits will be cut or reduced. I really believe that this is not the best strategy in these financially challenging times.
