  1. Same hours as the MDR ad it is just a separate portion of the dining room
  2. Used to love this venue but last month on the Ruby the service was mediocre and the short ribs very very fatty. It is located to the right as you enter the Wheelhouse
  3. These protocols change all the time You can put your voyage number into the Princess website and get updated info. Right now my 15 day Panama Canal cruise in March only requires testing for unvaccinated guests. With proof of full vaccination no test needed
  4. Mini bar is by cabin not by person These days it is a crap shoot as to what types of liquor it will contain. With the Plus package we find we never use up all the liquor
  5. We usually stay in full suites and have never had them
  6. No. Your grats cover this. Unless of course you remove your grats and want to tip everyone on the ship whenever you turn around. LOL
  7. We were on the Ruby for Thanksgiving and yes high staff visibility and overall a very happy crew. I believe a lot has to do with Captain Tani. Thought he was great
  8. We have club class so not looking for extra speciality restaurants or desserts or fitness classes with my hip and knee replacements
  9. New items are listed as the fitness, desserts and juice bar. The new limit for drinks is not shown as new
  10. Prior to beverage packages we had ridiculous bills in leaving the ship. Those of us you use 6-10 drinks a day make out well with the plus package. Even at $8 per drink for basic cocktails we would be paying a fortune if we paid drink by drink. Not to even mention grats and wifi
  11. It may be that they will treat OBC used in the casino like they do with “free play dollars”. This would mean you can only cash winnings not the unused amount
  12. Cruise lines never let you know about groups. Best way is to google your ship and date and see who is offering bookings
  13. Since we never go to bed before midnight on cruises so we have never been bothered by music and we love aft suites
  14. There may be some extra Coast Guard inspections depending on where it is coming from or extra cleaning needed if there have been covid cases on board
  15. Especially if suites and mini suites have their own separate restaurants everyone else in the 3 story restaurant. Just how much of the ship is limited by class ?
  16. No just more loungers covered in bags and books for a longer time
  17. There has always been a smoking area on prom. This may be larger but not entirely new
  18. We have always been able to upgrade to a full suite as long as there was one available. And yes you must pay the whole amount right then and there. There is no final payment date
  19. Many states have laws concerning alcohol. We have been charged tax in various ports. Sailing from Texas they can only serve booze from Texas until reaching International waters
  20. This to me is the worst idea ever. They are starting a class by class differentiations. Suite passengers have their own restaurants, bar and sanctuary. Mini suites have their own restaurants. All the unblemished folk are excluded. If I wanted this I would sail Cunard
  21. Well we usually travel in full suites but I think the attention snd extra entree offers. Yes we had extra entrees every night. The lamb chops on landfall dinner were every bit as good as the Crown Grill
  22. Mortgage is one thing but on other bills like credit cards etc. I want to look for errors before paying them. Kind of like keeping track of your folio on ship
