  1. Same here. We are waiting to see what the Majestic and Royal are doing in May of 2024. Right now, the Majestic ends their schedule in Hong Kong and the Royal in Tokyo.
  2. It does not really matter because you are going in two directions, one on the way there and an opposite direction on your return to LA. So, two different exposures.
  3. Depending on demand, they will sometimes have multiple dinners.
  4. Don't mention this around my DW, you'll have one angry lady! She loves her reality shows! 😄
  5. Very on point comments. The crew and entertainers onboard are constantly rotating between ships and contracts. It's like a box of chocolates...
  6. Btw, you should request that your title be changed to something like "Question re: Elite Laundry." That will give you more responses.
  7. That's a good question. We have enjoyed the Elite laundry benefit for years, but have never sent anything out just for ironing. We will be interested in the responses. My initial impulse is that only pressing/ironing is not included in the benefit???
  8. Yes, right up to final payment. And, sometimes even after. Duplicate answer...
  9. We board on October 26th for 37 days and will start a "Live" if no one else does before me.
  10. For years, we have used a TA that specializes in cruises and love her! She handles all the headaches and ensures that we always receive the lowest possible fares.
  11. It is one set-up for each cruise (regardless of the length of the cruise). And, it is only for Elite passengers or if you are in a Full Suite.
  12. We frequently use EZ Air for our international flights. We have never made any changes to the flights after final payment. I'm curious to hear your outcome.
  13. With our AON claims. all funds were reimbursed to us via checks from AON. There was no option for FCC, maybe things have changed? Our claim was made in March and took about 4 months for the final reimbursement.
  14. I'm sorry Daniel, but I do not agree with your point. Your Elite/Platinum privileges were awarded to YOU by Princess because of the status that YOU earned. In the Princess Platinum/Elite list of privileges, it does not state that you can choose to allow non-Elite/Platinum passengers to enjoy YOUR Platinum/Elite earned privileges. And in your comparison, you are comparing apples to artichokes. If I booked a suite, I can allow any one I wish to enjoy my balcony. I have that privilege based on the fact that I paid for the suite. If you are in Club Class, should you be able to bring in non-Club Class passengers to the dining room? If you fly Business Class and your companions are in coach, should you be allowed to bring them into the Business Class Lounge? As far as separating from your non-Platinum/Elite companions at embarkation, what we have done in that situation is to get in the regular line with our companions. Not extend OUR earned privileges to those that have not earned or have a right to them. Sorry, I had to speak my truth...
  15. Ours has been showing pending for over a month! Not worrying about it. 🙂
  16. Did you have the Princess insurance? If so, we filed a Trip Interruption claim with AON (Princess insurance carrier) and received a check from AON within 4 weeks for the onboard isolation time. The remainder of our claim was a different story. We just finally received our last reimbursement for our February covid fiasco.
  17. Our 7 yr old granddaughter is Platinum, soon to be Elite. She loves cruising and is always a pleasure to be around.

  20. Coral Princess cruisers required to test before going ashore in Sydney Coral Princess docked in Sydney on Wednesday, with reports that some passengers disembarked for the day without showing proof of a negative RAT Helen Hutcheon | Jul 13, 2022 New South Wales Health gave Coral Princess, which arrived in Sydney Wednesday with four passengers and 114 crew COVID-19 positive, an ‘amber’ risk level, allowing the ship to safely maintain critical services. 'Amber' is a safety notice to local health officials about potential quality and safety issues requiring risk assessment at the local level. Isolation onboard All infected people are in isolation onboard and are being cared for by the ship’s medical staff. A spokesperson for Princess Cruises said around 10 more passengers returned a positive RAT (rapid antigen test) before disembarking. Day in Sydney All passengers getting off the ship for the day in Sydney were required to return a negative RAT before departing, but several media outlets, including the Australian Financial Review, reported some passengers disembarked without showing proof of a negative result. Coral Princess, on a 12-day round-trip from Brisbane, sailed from Sydney late Wednesday. She is due to return to her homeport at the new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal on July 22.
