  1. There is no limit. We are careful not to send out anything that can be damaged by high heat. The more sensitive items we wash ourselves. Also, if you happen to be on a voyage with a high number of Elite passengers, it can take up to 3 days to have your laundry returned.
  2. We purchased our 100 shares of Carnival stock years ago. Over the years, we have received about 10x+ our original investment in OBC's. Great investment!!! 🙂
  3. Passengers will check-in to their cabins over a 4 to 6 hour period, not all at once. You will meet them as they have time on the first day.
  4. In our experience, we interact with our Room Steward frequently. We usually get to know them and they us pretty well. A good Room Steward can really enhance your cruise experience. Enjoy!
  5. Currently, they are not doing any b2b testing on the Caribbean Princess. The only required test is the pre-boarding test.
  6. On our 6 post-covid cruises, the amenities have been a mixed bag depending on the ship's inventory at the time. IMHO, the amenities are nothing to get excited about. We always bring our own items.
  7. Nicola is one of our favorites! He'll be coming back as we board! Yeah!!! 🙂
  8. We board the Regal the same day you disembark. We'll be on for 37 days, all the way back to Ft Lauderdale. Btw, we will be in Tuscany for a week prior to the cruise.
  9. It will be interesting to see how they handle all of the above issues on the Northern Europe cruises???
  10. I thought it was the Crown that was having propulsion issues?
  11. I use the Princess watch band during workouts and by the pool. All other times, I keep it in my pocket.
  12. From what is currently happening with cruising in Northern Europe, several cruise lines no longer requiring pre-boarding testing, I see pre-boarding testing going away very soon for all sailings.
  13. At the end of February, I tested positive on the Emerald on a b2b Antigen test. Medical staff came to our cabin and conducted a PCR test to confirm the results. Both were positive and I was asymptomatic.
  14. Ken, when you have time, can you post a photo of the Ship's Officers (posted near the mid-ship elevators on deck 7)? Thank you!
  15. To be specific, the Maitre'd' is now called the Director of Restaurant Operations. The former Head Waiters are now called Restaurant Managers. Btw, the Asst Maitre'd is now the Lido Manager.
  16. Generoso did indeed retire. We are close friends and we communicate frequently. He does not follow Cruise Critic, but I'll pass on the nice comments.
  17. From May to August, 2023, the Emerald will be sailing out of Los Angeles. California Coastal, Mexico and Hawaii itineraries.
  18. Ours have been showing "pending" for a month.
  19. There has been lots of posts about these lights on many threads. Personally, we find them extremely annoying and disable them with black electrical tape.
  20. We are very similar. We follow the Roll Calls more to see what excursions folks are doing, but we do not participate in any of the organized activities or share any excursions.
  21. Thank you for posting! We have been eagerly awaiting these!
