Currently on the quest..the restaurant was open for breakfast and today is a port day!! great dinner in the restaurant last evening and the vast majority of guest dined there..:very good and attentive service from lovely crew members enjoyed embarkation lunch and todays breakfast at the colonnade outside very pleased so far with our first Quest sailing and any minor stuff has been pleasantly taken care of hapoy sails, Nancy

Currently on the quest…during our initial meeting yesterday with our lovely suite hostess and attendent, we requested a paper copy of the herald and we received it early last night along with the dining choices…NO Issues or a need to beg for these items…just asked and was told….absolutely and we will receive this info nightly so far, all is very good on the quest happy sails, Nancy

Same experience for us in august…we both received the full FCC for the days we were in isolation along with a letter from the Guest Services Manager outlining this info prior to disembarkation. We did NOT have Seabourn Shield coverage, had travel insurance from a 3rd party. Nancy

I was on the ovation in mid to late august and the restaurant was open for lunch on all 4 sea days. However, it there were very few passengers there on our 3 visits. I didn’t find the menu overly limited and always found something good to order. I have an upcoming cruise on the quest with 2 sea days. I’ll try to remember to report on the lunch status of the restaurant. Nancy

welcome back Julie and nice to read your post. I fully concur with everything you posted. Our first seabourn cruise, on the ovation, was excellent and our experiences were similar to your summer sojourn cruise. While certainly not perfect, the cruise met our high expectations and the service was very good with a few minor hiccups…like you, same minor issues at recent high end hotel stays. We also had the issue of isolation, ours was shorter than yours yet the service and compassion we received were extraordinary. I did feel that there were many new crew members and most will work out just fine yet they seemed to lack some training and direction and that is something easily corrected…most tried so hard and we really appreciated that. we have an upcoming quest cruise and I will hold judgement until we are on the ship. As the number of people who post on cc and the fb groups are just a small sample, I tend not to put much emphasis on most of the comments, good or bad. happy sails and nice to read your post. Nancy

Love this! 😁😁. we loved crystal, some cruises better than others and we were fortunate to sail on the symphony last fall. Sad that crystal ceased operations but on a positive note, it gave us the opportunity to sail seabourn as I was hoping at some point to try seabourn. So glad we tried seabourn and we both loved it. yes, choice is good and can’t wait for my next SB cruise. Nancy

While I didn’t care…quite a few passengers we chatted with on our first meet up made sure to tell us (we didn’t inquire) how many days they sailed on seabourn overall, we found the passengers, including many of the frequent SB cruisers delightful and welcoming…very similar mix to what we typically experienced on crystal hope this was helpful…Over and out, Nancy

With close to 30 crystal cruises, sailing in the least expensive to a lowly PH, WE ALWAYS had the same great level of service…equal to what we received in the veranda suite on seabourn. The only difference on crystal was the butler service in the PH and higher suites, larger real estate and several in sure perks…all for a significant price. Once you left your cabin or suite, all guests were treated equally…your friend might have been misinformed Nancy

i believe we are on the same upcoming cruise. Recently, one of our tours was cancelled, on in which I paid for a couple of months ago and received a confirmation via email. I did receive a confirmation email regarding the cancellation and it also included the dollar amount that was credit back to the credit card. Nancy

The copenhagen Marriott is several miles from the cruise terminal. I stayed there recently and I recommend booking directly and arranging your own transport. Taxis are plentiful and the the concierge group can easily arrange a specific time. So much less expensive doing booking all of this on your own. The hotel will have a major refurb next year, room really need it but currently more than adequate. I don’t know the specific dates on this refurb. just realized the hotel is included yet not free! 😂. I would still make your own arrangement to the cruise terminal…it’s a short 15-20 ride and inexpensive nancy
