Anyone wear Chico's Traveler Classic knits on their cruise?

I would but I don't care to wear that fabric during the summer, especially to a humid place. I find that fabric to trap heat and very uncomfortable outside of fall, winter, and early spring.

Ditto! I have a few pieces (right now, mainly the pants, as I shrank out of my other pieces and haven't replaced the tanks or jackets yet). I wear them for work, and am planning to bring a pair on my Christmas Market river cruise in December - but for a warm weather trip? Nope:D So it would help to know when/where you're cruising....

I must have some other style than you guys. What I have now are thin material types.

I am menopausal and I cruise the carribean. LOL, sitting here with a hot flash now.

I wear mine and I do ok in the MDR and shows or casino afterwards with them. I think I must have the thinner kind. They are not real hot imo.

I know I have bought other brands but I have the chico traveler brand as well.

Are Chico's Travelers Classic Knit pieces still in style? Thinking of wearing pants and jacket on our upcoming cruise but don't want to be appear "old fashioned".:o

I just returned from a cruise and did see lots of what appeared to be Travelers from Chico's. I have several pieces of their newer collection of knit but would only wear in cooler weather. I love the way they pack like a breeze!:)

I really like Chico's Traveler's knits and find them quite comfortable inside chilly cruise ships. Chico's has designed some very interesting textures that combine with their basic Traveler's knits. Some of their tops are loosely woven knits, almost a mesh. They have also featured T's knits in various colors besides black. This summer they had a beautiful ocean blue color I really liked.

I haven't cared for their lightest colors of grey and their white didn't seem quite right to me. But I find their darker colors and jewel tones very attractive. They have some abstract prints too that have been attractive. Some of their more recent T's knits might not be easily identified as Traveler's knits.

I always bring my Travelers pants and tops on my cruises. I have several different tops and one pair of basic black slacks. In fact, I just bought a really terific tunic top for my upcoming Caribbean cruise. I don't care how hot it is outside since I'll be in air conditioning.

Gee, I love Chico's Travelers Collection because they don't wrinkle, are easy care and can be laundered in the sink in a pinch. The fabric I am talking about is not a heavy cotton knit though, it's 95% acetate, 5% spandex according to their website. Heck, I consider it year round travel wear. I am quite comfortable in spring/summer/fall. I would consider it a bit lightweight for cold weather winter. I think they just change the color selections based on the season.

And . . . zing.

I have many pieces of Travelers, especially black bottoms and tops that match with black. Some of the my older pieces are heavy, as is a pair of palazzos I recently bought (there's a lot of fabric). But I don't travel with just a carryon ;), so that doesn't matter to me. What matters is that they fit me well and I can mix and match tops with bottoms.

And I don't find them warm. I don't wear them on excursions; I wear them on the boat in air-conditioning.

Chico's has many different fabrics. The "older traveler's knit"......they do

still have them but I have found (in my opinion) they have newer fabrics....

still no wrinkles but maybe not as much acitate in them......they also have

other items, which I love:).....they have many different pants/jeans/

bottoms........

It is so nice to have choices:D.......if you like their apparel? They are

definitely cruise friendly:)......if you don't like it? Don't wear it.

Oh, the original poster asked if their items are old fashioned.......not in

my opinion.

I find the Chico's Travelers are just too heavy weight-wise to go in my suitcase. Now let's talk about the Znergy line. I love them and have worn them to death. They are lightweight, yet seem warm enough except in the coldest weather, weigh nothing, hardly wrinkle. I've taken black capris on almost every trip I've been on. I feel like I can never have enough, buy 2-3 new ones every season -- okay, end of season sales. Anybody else feel like I do?

I have a three piece stretchy knit (slinky???) pants/tank/pants in brown and the other in black. I now take just the tanks and pants, and have spent the last year assembling a wardrobe of chiffon and goergette tops and jackets. I've got my evening clothes down to about 6 lbs, and enough for 10 days, including formal outfits ( georgette or chiffon pants/skirts.

But, the slinky knits are still my go-to basics.
