oldguysandgalls Posted September 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2018 Compared to many seasoned cruisers, we have cruised only a few times but every transatlantic voyage and/or cruise has been memorable for all the right reasons. Every journey, every transatlantic crossing and every Caribbean cruise is filled with treasured memories of our fellow passengers, the places we visited, the laughs we shared and the sweet sorrows of having to say goodbye at the end of our journeys.. Thank you all for the memories.

champagne123 Posted September 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2018 That sounds suspiciously like a farewell. Is it? Are you ok? That is exactly what I thought. Hopefully OP is just melancholy at the moment.

leaveitallbehind Posted September 16, 2018 #12 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Wonderful !We are still in close contact with some people we met on a cruise from 1996. We, too, have met a number of now good friends while cruising, with whom we have continued to cruise many times, the next of which will be in November. We have also met socially between cruises traveling to each other's homes and to different cities, both individually and as a group. Cruising is a wonderful way to meet many like minded people from different places and backgrounds.
Heidi13 Posted September 16, 2018 #13 Share Posted September 16, 2018 We are still in regular contact with fellow passengers from around the world, we met on many cruises, who became good friends. Only last year when in UK, we met up with 2 other couples we met on a Trans-Atlantic in 2014. This year we met a couple cruising to Alaska, we previously met on a ship many years ago, and spent the day with them playing tour guide. We always opt for large tables at meal times and also participate in many of the various trivias, so have many opportunities to meet other pax.
